I am just completely shocked at all the negative reviews. I have had nothing but positive interactions with the staff and Dr Chernyak. Of course she is going to request a urine sample. She needs to know if she is treating SUD or mental illness. I have found her to be kind, patient, understanding and supportive. She listens to the patient, considers the symptoms and yes, on occasions needs to adjust medication. Never once have we felt judged or felt critical eyes on us.
Jessica Bringman has been amazing!! She listens and she cares about her clients. Thank you Jessica!!
I was a little nervous after reading some of the reviews.I met with Jessica Bringman yesterday for my son.She was amazing. She listened to everything I said. She answered all of my questions. She was good with my son.
After years with my provider. She moved to the west side of the state. I was referred to see DR. Chernyakc to be my new mental health doctor. I waited in the loby for 25 min. Also As a person with anxiety it would have been nice to know beforehand about providing a sample of urine. As I (& Im assuming most people) relive themselves before an appointment. After drinking several cups of water, a half-hour later, and trying too with tips from the internet.. I still couldn't produce one. I was told she wouldn't even see me if i didn't. This cause me great stress and anxiety trauma because I needed to have my meds refilled.. I was able to speak with her and provide a sample at the end of the appointment. Explaining I had a bit of a "pee problem" she reassured me that she would take note of that & it wouldn't be necessary and set my next appointment. My next appointment thinking I did not need to provide a sample I was told I had to! I had Used the restroom before again. As it is a habit. This is when I had a breakdown and tears because the treatment from the staff was judging and entitled looking and talking to me as if I were an aditc or something. That she absolutely wouldn't see me again if no sample could be tested before hand. I asked for a blood test and was refused. I left the office in complete tears. Ended up making a appointment with my General Dr to get my meds. (his nurse informed me that dr.Chernyak often will put a stop hold on meds of patients who stop seeing her) The one time I did meet at see her was VIA zoom. Surprisingly the second one was sposta be in person... but ended up another zoom... I dont think she really cares to meet her Patience, just judging from my experience and reviews Ive read.
Dr.Chernyak dropped my boyfriend as a client and we had to call three times to even figure out she dropped him. She also refused to refill all his meds she put him on leaving him to withdrawal. She was changing his medication every two weeks and didn’t even give it time to work, she also wouldn’t tell him what any of his diagnoses were nor would she write on paper what he was diagnosed. She is known for being against disability and refusing to send over important medical documents to help patients get on disability. Never go here they are extremely unprofessional and treat their patients horrible.
Personally, I'm shocked at the borderline three-star review of this place. I've had nothing but positive experience from here. Quite frankly, I think without Jessica Bringman and staff I might possibly be dead. They have shown me nothing but kindness and compassion. And while I haven't always agreed with them, nine out of 10 times, they have been right. Like most health clinics the hardest part is just letting go and trusting your practitioner. I did and I'm so grateful for doing so and trusting their guidance.
I was recently dropped by the psychiatrist. I was not told by the nurse or anyone else. I had to call at least 3 times to find out. I received the letter, 2 weeks after I had originally asked when I went to reschedule. I pleaded that they tell me if that was the case, but they did not respect my wish. I visited the E.R. just a couple weeks before my last scheduled appointment for suicidal ideation and my psychiatrist CHOSE to drop me. I was told that it is not reversible either, so my situation was never considered. This is unprofessional. I don't think Dr. Phillips cared enough about my life and if I died. The letter said that the decision was not taken lightly, but honestly I don't think that it was a hard decision or he wouldn't have made it. I will not be recommending this facility to anyone.
