Amazing experience so far! They have listened, they have been patient, and kind. This facility has given us hope that our child will get the educational help she needs. Their evaluation has helped give us the diagnosis that allows us to advocate for our child. It is a breath of fresh air having someone else advocating for her needs too!
As a parent of 2 children that were tested there, as an educator in the public school system, and as a dyslexia specialist; it is without hesitation that I give TPE 5 stars and my full support of the their services. Do not hesitate, spend the money, take the time and call them and get your person the help they need.
I am so incredibly happy that I found True Potential. At the time my son had hit a wall and was not successful in school, True Potential was able to provide answers and the next steps to find ways for my son to become successful not only in school but life. The staff go out of their way to make you, and your student welcomed and heard. I do not live in IA and they had a staff member get a license in our state so that they could serve us. Amazing and above and beyond. Thank you!
Our experience with True Potential was amazing from the very beginning. After completing the first questionnaire about the issues we were experiencing with our child, we received a call back about our interest and details behind being evaluated within 24 hours! JulieAnn was VERY informative and patient with all the questions we had. After the conversation with her, she sent us a detailed email after our conversation which even helped us out in calling our insurance to understand coverage for the evaluation. The day of the evaluation ran smoothly and made us feel we were the only customers - I believed this helped tremendously with my child being comfortable and accurately evaluated. They also provided some little toys for kids to play with during breaks and rewarded the kids with little gadgets and stickers. The speech pathologists were very knowledgeable when it was time to receive the results of the evaluation and went through ALL findings in detail in a way that helped us non-experts understand what and how they were evaluating on our child. Overall: A great experience! I would recommend True Potential Education to any family that needs this service! They made us feel welcomed every step of the way.
We love True Potential! Staff is very professional and friendly. Appreciate that they offer in person and virtual tutoring options. Our son has improved reading significantly since starting over a year ago. Highly recommend!
After just 1 year of tutoring, my kid improved so much! She resolved her language disorder and improved her percentile by bunches. At school, she even surpassed her grade level on phonics and high-frequency words on the FAST tests. We are continuing with tutoring to keep giving her the skills to help her brain cope with the standard educational system. We are so thankful for TPE.
