Initially, this was a good experience. There was an assistant or office manager that handled the paperwork and she remained vigilant as we tried to figure out the issue with getting their documents and ensured we had them in before she left the company. That was in August/September. We weren't able to connect with our therapist until January after leaving voicemails and messages with others. The initial appointment didn't occur until after I connected with the CEO to advise that we have been unsuccessful in reaching Shariff. Then the CEO Rene advised that the last message we left was forwarded to the therapist and to contact him if we had not heard from him. I really appreciated that effort and that is what prompted us to just have the first meeting, perhaps it was challenging because the connection was going to be great. The first appointment happened and we looked forward to the second. We get to the 2nd appointment and no one is there at 10:15 and the bell is rang and no one responds. Then we sit and wait in the parking lot and return at 10:30 (our actual appointment time), still no response. We wait 5 more minutes and left. This definitely created a lot of additional effort, inconvenience and stress trying to make this work. We will seek support from some place else.

The staff are pleasant and caring

I’ve been a client at Turning Corners for about three years now, and from the very first session, I felt an immediate connection with my therapist, Rene—something I don’t take for granted. Finding a good therapist can feel like dating: awkward, exhausting, and full of trial and error. But here, it just clicked. Rene is absolutely amazing—not only in his work with me personally, but also in how he oversees the entire team. His style is laid back and easygoing, but in the best way—he’s real, relatable, and genuinely human. I’ve grown into a better version of myself through the insight he shares and the honest, thoughtful conversations we’ve had. The way he helps me see things from new perspectives has made a lasting impact on how I navigate life and personal relationships. Even more impressive, the tone Rene sets is clearly reflected in the whole practice. My husband became a client as well and had the same instant connection with his therapist, which speaks volumes about the culture of care and consistency Rene has helped create. They’ve walked me through highs and some truly bottom-of-the-barrel lows. And through it all, I’ve never once felt rushed, dismissed, judged, or like my privacy was compromised. That sense of safety and care is everything. I’ve seen therapists in other states up and down the East Coast, and I can confidently say the team at Turning Corners is doing something really right. They put their clients first in a way that’s both professional and deeply human. I’m genuinely happy to see the practice growing—though I’ll admit, I’m a little jealous that more people are finding out how amazing they are. Guess I have to share now…

I've Been Taking My Sister to Mr Rene for some time now, and everytime she comes back to the car she's feeling A lot better, She's Less Agitated and even at home she's been better at controlling her Attitudes and Doing Breathing exercises. I think He’s been a big help in her overall behavior and I just want to Thank Him. I Would Definitely Recommend him to anyone looking for a Therapist!!

Horrible experience! Will never recommend this firm. After two emails requesting experience in practicing and to confirm a scheduled appointment, Marissa Maguire failed to respond.
