I’ve been so impressed with United Family Therapy. They have been absolutely wonderful in supporting my family. The entire team works together to truly help families, and you can feel how much they care. The front desk staff is especially kind and helpful with scheduling—they’re organized, professional, and always welcoming. I truly appreciate everything they’ve done for my family.
I have found that the team dynamic (i.e. individual therapy with separate therapists for each family member, combined with family therapy) has been such a help to my family. My family and I have been involved with Unified for roughly 5 months surrounding co-parenting and custody issues. This therapy might be a bit costly financially, but the assistance provided is 10x more effective (both financially and in dispute resolution) than simply using attorneys. $20k to attorneys over 24 months= minimal effect, mega frustration, and large amounts of poor and ineffective communication in custody resolution. Vs. $5k and 5 months in individual and family therapy at Unified= SUBSTANTIAL progress, effective communication, and true personal improvement for every member of the family as well as custody dispute resolution. If you have a choice, I would highly recommend Unified Family Therapy over attorney involvement or in conjunction with attorney/court proceedings. I was spinning my wheels and dropping mega $$ for 20 months prior to Unified becoming involved. I won't name the specific therapists, but rest assured their teams will sort through the drama/BS, give each patient honest and helpful feedback on how to improve, and strive to have outcomes beneficial for all parties involved.
Every time we go to Unified family Therapy, the staff is so wonderful. Olivia and Tanya are so helpful managing organizing. There’s a calm presence when you walk into the facility that make me and my kids feel safe and calm.
Fantastic and welcoming staff. My therapist has helped me cope and recover from recent trauma, and given me confidence to move forward. Safe, amiable, professional, and banter-ready. I can confidently say that if it wasn't for her, I don't think I would have come out of my recent trials nearly as well, if at all. I went to therapy looking for someone to help me learn what I was "doing wrong," and instead learned to have more confidence in myself and sort through dissociation that friends and family could not help me with.
Amy is very pleasant. I enjoy talking to her.
We've had the best experience with every single person we've worked with! My daughter has already made progress in many areas. Everyone is professional & compassionate at the same time. I can't say enough good things about everyone at UFT!
A fantastic place, everyone is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable in what they do. I highly recommend Jessica, she does a great job! The front desk staff are always pleasant as well, and respond quickly to calls and messages.
We had and are still having a wonderful experience with the whole team, especially Jess Graves. Our daughter is 11 and was going through some really tough stuff. Jess was able to navigate her through the landmines, teaching her to advocate for herself and gave her the tools to communicate. Our daughter is doing so much better now. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.
I had a decent therapist there. She disappeared without a trace, so they placed me with a new therapist who had a flat affect. She was completely weird and bizarre. She could not smile or react to anything I said. Super weird. But the real reason I left this clinic was because of the way they handled a case of SIGNIFICANT and DANGEROUS parental alienation. They had a case of my family member’s where the mother has been lying to her daughter. Tricking her into thinking her mom’s rich new husband is the dad. Even told the child her dad wasn’t present for her birth because he was in the military. He really wasn’t present because he’s NOT HER DAD. She had an active dad in her life for 5 years. Once 5 years hit, mom slowly cut off more and more visits. Rich new husband married the mom when the child was 5 years old. The mom was manipulating the court system to cheat the father. Claiming she was scared. DO NOT DO FAMILY THERAPY WITH THIS CLINIC!!!!!! HARD PASS!!! They cater to narcissists and children pay the price. If you are battling a narcissist, DO NOT CHOOSE THIS FACILITY. They are not equipped to hand the extreme degree of narcissism that can come from mothers in a toxic family system. HARD NO. Plus, they have a significant therapist turnover rate. I would never ever recommend this place to anyone. One egotistical manager is all it takes to destroy a clinic. Clearly, because all of the therapists leave, and the clinic can’t properly recognize parental alienation and narcissism when it presents directly in front of their eyes.
