Nice staff but you are never seen on time. Over 30 minutes late being seen which can affect other appointments.

The front desk staff are good people. The medication doctor I seen however is not. I went in for an appointment a few weeks prior and told her about my concern for me gaining weight. I told her I gained 13 lbs when I was put on a med and she kept insisting that we find a scale somewhere. I felt like she didn’t believe me. I thought it was just one bad appointment but nope today proved me wrong. I went in today and the last few weeks I have been anxious and hallucinating since I’ve started a new med. I told her they both started a few weeks after starting the med. she told me that it’s not possible that it’s the med bc starting a new job and being tired can cause that. She did however raise the med that I was telling her that caused me to start hallucinating. After the appointment I didn’t bother making another and walked out. I will be going to a new place and I would not recommend this place if it was the only place within a 100 mile radius.

I have NEVER been here, however, on my unity point portal they had me as a patient , there was notes on the past appointments (the after care summary) (they were using my info ) for someone else. Literally showing all this patients medication and other details. I sent them a message on the portal asking about such thing. The front desk lady returned my call as if I was confused. When THEYRE the ones confused, this is a big lawsuit and against hippa laws. I have yet to hear back on why my info was used and whether or not they were billing MY insurance company . Mind you the patient that they were seeing on MY account they had a virtual visit so the call was recorded! Someone is going to be in a lot of trouble for this! !!!!!!!!

If you need controlled substance prescriptions filled regularly and don't want to sit on the phone for 8 minutes each time then maybe choose a different practice. Oh and for a 3 minute med check in that you had to wait 45 minutes for you will get charged 250 bucks. It's a joke.

Been trying for over a hour to call to reschedule an appointment and all you get is the busy signal. You can’t get through to anyone!

Medication refills are an absolute nightmare. Be prepared to spend a few hours each month stressing, sending messages, and getting on the phone just to receive the right medication. Even if it’s the right medication you have a 50/50 shot it will be the wrong dosage. The nurse practitioners and maybe one or two front desk people are the only useful people in the building. That being said, this is Iowa. It’s pretty much bottom of the barrel mental health care across the state.

This is absolutely the worst doctors office I have ever encountered in my entire life! I have been going to this office for over a year and anytime I need to refill a prescription it takes at least two weeks. I had some FMLA paperwork that needed to be filled out and it took over a month which jeopardized my income and my home because I was unable to get any of my short term disability benefits, because the doctor would not fill out the paperwork. I would make appointments weekly to check on the paperwork and she would complain to me and say things like “I haven’t even had lunch this week” unfortunately that’s the life of a doctor! There is one nice receptionist that works there and every single one of the rest of them are so incredibly rude and just mean to their core! It’s almost as if they go out of their way to NOT help you. Stay far far away from this office. Try to find anybody else that will take your insurance. Do not go here!!!
