Utah Premier Speech and O.T.

I didn’t even know private pay speech therapy was an option, but I am so glad I found this office for my daughter. I thought the schools were the only way for kids to get speech and after being frustrated by her slow progress at the schools because of the large groups they had her in, and the limited amount of minutes she was receiving in the schools we knew we had to find another way. The progress my child has made is incredible. Worth every penny. My only regret is not starting her here sooner.

Utah Premier Speech has become an extension of our family. They are a hidden gem! I’m so glad we heard about them through some friends. They must stay pretty busy just with word of mouth because of how great they are. When our insurance and school district wouldn't approve speech therapy for our child, we were hopeless on what steps to take next. We were being told our kid wasn’t struggling enough to qualify, but we knew that his potential was greater if only we could get him some help. Everything about my child's progress here has been PREMIER. Seriously amazing. Our son was struggling in ways that were really starting to affect his confidence, but the school said he wasn't struggling enough to qualify for any help. He often got frustrated trying to express himself, leading to frequent meltdowns. His teachers noticed he was withdrawing from group activities and then he stopped talking to other kids altogether. Within just a few months of working with Utah Premier Speech, we saw a HUGE change. Every speech therapist he has seen here has been so patient and engaging. He is using longer sentences and is more easily understood, but most importantly, his frustration disappeared. He is a completely different kid. He participates in class, has friends, and loves telling us stories about his day. Looking back, I can't imagine us not having found their practice and I'm almost sad that my son has made so much progress that he's ready to be released. I really enjoy talking with his therapists, they're great listeners and always have great suggestions. I can honestly say this was one of the best investments we've made for my child and his future (and they're still surprisingly cheaper than other places we've called around to, and much better than Browning and HeyDay who lied to us about our insurance coverage and their experience). Thank you for helping my kid find his voice! Bonus- if your child has any dyslexia issues, this location is in the same building as KoolMinds that works on that. The location right off the freeway is also so convenient for all the places I'm going to and from as the life of a mom chauffeur.
