Finally they do have friendly people working at reception area. I like my nurse practitioner but they over work them things get missed. Using wrong size of BP cuff can give a wrong reading. MyChart app is a hit or miss and often technical support don't fix your issues. Since VH is only place to see anyone you have to roll with everything or not be seen

This is the best doctors office I've been to in a long time they listen to you and get things done right away I would tell anyone in need of a doctor to go here they are great!!!

Very poor communication regarding setting up an appointment. I called on 8/28/24 to schedule an appointment. I was asked my name, insurance information, date of birth, and contact information. I was told the earliest appointment was 3 weeks with Gina Lindvay. I took that appointment. 2 weeks go by and I receive a call saying Gina does not see clients over a certain age. If they had my date of birth from day one, why did they schedule me in the first place, and why did it take them 2 weeks to realize Gina would not see me? As it turns out, no counselors at their facility will see me. The person who informed me of this said she made an appointment at their Milton location the following week (now we are 4 weeks out from my initial call). When I told her that I could not make that appointment date, as I wasn't available, she told me harshly, "well, then you'll have to call them yourself and schedule you appointment." The person scheduling appointments should be better educated about age requirements before making appointments. Now I'm starting over to get another counselor set up. Very poor way to handle individuals who are trying to seek out professional mental health. I would hope that someone in an acute mental crisis situation would never have to put up with this incompetency.

Rude phone service. Clearly says behavioral health and was told they don’t do that there. RUDE.

I have just moved back to the area in the last year and needed to get a new family doctor, dentist and OB-Gyn. The staff from start to finish are incredible. They are efficient and quick yet take all the time you need to answer your questions. Friendly, professional and so helpful. They came recommended to me and I have already recommended them to several people. Would highly recommend to anyone , as a new patient my experience couldn’t have gone any better. 😀👍

Valley Health Hurricane has been my primary care provider for 3 years. The excellent professional staff is everything I look for in a provider. Not only are the doctors and nurses very caring and courteous, but they also take the time to actually address each person’s individual needs in a timely manner. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a provider for the entire family, they are awesome and the best in WV in my opinion. Special kudos to Dr Merritt and Dr Erin, not to mention the front desk staff and all the wonderful nurses 🙏🏽🤗
