Chris Jackson is a cool guy. However, he promised that clients would be billed an unknown amount of fees for services which were also undefined at the time of consultation. Calling back to the front desk yields the same answer. If you are seeking help with self-harm or other serious problems and are struggling with capitalism, do not waste your time with Washington County Health Services. You will be drained. In banking, this predatory practice is referred to as “surprise fees” and is considered to be a dangerous legal liability to institutions that implement this shady practice. Washington County Health Services, and by extension Chris Jackson, are not to be trusted. If you have experience with receiving mental health services in other states, it would be matter-of-fact to say that Vermont’s mental health systems are in crisis.
The place is good and everything but getting in to the sensory room at least for me is nigh on impossible. Just wish it were easier.
