My first appointment at this facility was with dr. Attiya Kidwai and my experience with her was not good whatsoever I felt as though she was annoyed and she wasn’t nice. So immediately when it was time to schedule my next appointment I decided to change to a nurse practitioner, Mary bowling and she is the best mental health professional I have ever worked with. I have been with her for a little over a year now and I wouldn’t change it for the world NP are able to get you in quicker as they normally don’t have as many patients. She did switch to online now though. Also to note a few weeks ago I had a old friend reach out to me and she also said she had Dr. Attiya kidwai and was super upset and i recommended her Mary bowling so that is what I am doing here.

I have the best therapist he cares and doesn't yell or judge me.

I started therapy at a time when I was overwhelmed with anxiety, stress, and constant overthinking. I am so grateful I took that step because working with Christian has been life changing. He patient and he genuinely listens. Each session made me feel seen and supported, and gave me the tools to navigate difficult moments with more clarity and peace. The entire team here is wonderful. The receptionists are always friendly and welcoming. I actually looked forward to seeing them. I still remember my very first appointment, it was in the evening and one of the ladies walked me out and waited to make sure I got safely into my car. That simple gesture meant a lot. Every visit felt peaceful and safe, and I always felt cared for. I’m walking away with more confidence and resilience, and I’ll always be grateful for this experience.

My review is going to encompass wellspan as a whole and not just this facility. With that being said, individual therapists thru wellspan in York area, are booked out for MONTHS. Yet, they're still taking patients. I had an appointment today [6/12/2025] and was told I couldn't be seen again by him until August. If I wanted a sooner appointment, I'd have to log into my portal and check if he has a canceled appointment every week and to basically stay on a waiting list for availability for his schedule. Why is he taking on more patients? That's not therapy that's going to help me and when I say I want to be seen once a week, he tells me my behavioral rating [that you have to fill out before a telehealth appointment] wasnt bad so he doesn't see the need. When it becomes anout maximum profit, its not therapeutic anymore. I'm no longer your client, I'm another paycheck and that doesnt work for me. I do love the therapeutic groups they offer, I will continue to utilize those but you are much better off going elsewhere, unless you want a group therapy. Wellspan taking on more patients when they are booked out for months, screams one thing: I JUST WANT YOUR MONEY! No thank you.

0 stars. Horrible staff. Their goal is solely to prescribe medications. This specific NP has not seen my son once in person over the past year or two that we were seeing her. Very little communication and unresponsive to emergent concerns. Don’t recommend this facility at all!

I had gone to wellspan Edgar square for the majority of my younger adult years. I have a stack of formal grievances at least three inches high. That is only regarding those instances when I became so outraged at many providers and so-called professionals that I suffered debilitating panic attacks from for maybe days. This includes a very possible HIPAA violation by the otherwise very well regarded by many other patients dr. Muneses. I had seen him there myself for years, always being given an incorrect diagnosis because of what I will call his prejudice in not encompassing what my very real traumas entailed towards me. As for the HIPAA violation, yes, there was a formal hearing with my insurance company, others including nonpartisan parties, and supposed to be wellspan person whose representative, of course, failed to show up. As for most of their therapists, I have very little faith that they even know one iota about how to conduct group therapy, let alone individual therapy. The office staff is dismissive at best. In other words, you had better have all your own documentation done yourself so the staff there doesn't have to worry about doing their job. Also, there were those therapists when I was in their groups who played favorites with participants, allowing another participant to constantly talk over me and never allow me to finish my point of view or input statement. Yes, this therapist, who has my same first name, had me removed from her group because of this and other.urgent concerns another participant tried to express whose needs were never met by said therapist or group. Although I was a participant, I could not, would not, not very briefly address this person's cries for help within said therapeutic group. I am a human being with feelings not just for myself but for others as well. The entire staff at wellspan Edgar square also allowed some of my extremely harshly judgemental and abusive outside acquaintances to weigh in on my therapeutic care as they would often sit in the waiting room while they made the excuse they were transporting someone else from the building I also lived in at the time. The only reason I am not healed yet is that at the time I struggled and even fought as much as possible while at Edgar square and continued so-called, no-called, care there is my family had strongly pressured me to continue with these abusive practicioners. There were a very, very small handful of people, maybe one or two therapists, who, had it not been for their honest support for me, at least at the time I might have needed it the most, I would have been long gone from this picture overall.
