We were very excited to meet with the staff about 6 months ago. In our meeting they were fabulous and assured us they would have a great program for our son but needed time to make sure they found something that was the right fit Two weeks ago we were finally contacted that they had something. My son attended the program last Saturday and it was awful. The needs of the others in the group were significantly different than those of my son. The day actually made him feel worse about himself. We wasted a lot of time waiting for this group to help provide services to our son and now we are back at step one. It should also be noted that they really struggle to communicate in a timely fashion. I'm sure this place is a great fit for specific types of kids but it clearly was not for us.
Poor experience. They appear to be incapable of working with the very kids and families that they are trying to attract.
I went there in 2015-ish. I don't remember a lot of the material they did, but what I do remember... A kid 3-4 years older assaulted me on an outing. Staff pulled me into a room with him, made him give a half-baked apology and decided the matter was over. Thank gods my parents weren't stupid and took me out of their "program" after that.
West Metro has been an amazing resource for both of my children who have ASD. My oldest has hugely benefited from their social skills groups and summer programming (and literally made a best friend for life), and my youngest is thriving in their EIDBI program. I don't know where I would be without the wonderful, caring, supportive, and skilled staff at West Metro. It takes a village, and I am proud to say that West Metro is a part of my village. :)

The director was very unprofessional and disrespectful of other people’s time, she stood me up twice, didn’t even call or email to reschedule or apologize, very disappointing.
