Westside Children's Therapy

Both my son and my daughter as toddlers went to this location and we saw phenomenal changes in them. The staff from front desk, Billing, to the top leads (Meghan, Linnea & All leads & to the therapists) are doing work of God- whichever God you believe is manifesting his blessing through these people to you. If your child has developmental challenges the staff at this location is expert in developing goals, making time based milestones, quantifying challenges for your kid and achieving complex behavioral changes through a dedicated framework. I saw it first hand with my son and daughter & I can attest to this in my tiny capacity of a Google reviewer. I wish we could stay in the area longer but schools were not as great and we had to move out. If you are in the area and looking for speech, OT and particularly ABA Therapy then this is the location which is the best in class whichever standard you are comparing it to.

The speech pathologist is very thorough and well versed in the current literature. She has a delightful positive attitude and gives you her undivided attention. She’s also very accommodating with a flexible schedule.

Miss Jill listened carefully to all of our concerns and started a treatment plan during the first visit. Her approach was very positive and inspired my grandchild and myself that change is possible.

When initially signing up I was skeptical it would be the right fit because it was listed as counseling. After our evaluation I felt reassured that we had chosen a good place to help us in a difficult time. Our therapist was knowledgeable and gave us a good game plan to tackle our issues. We are looking forward to meeting weekly and achieving our goals. Front staff was friendly and the environment was bustling in the best way.

We had a wonderful experience at Westside Therapy. My daughter saw Miss Fernanda, and from the moment we walked in, she was welcoming and warm-hearted. She made my daughter feel comfortable right away and was incredibly patient and compassionate throughout the sessions. She took the time to ease our concerns as parents and really connected with my daughter in such a positive way. We are so grateful for her care and highly recommend Westside Therapy, especially with Miss Fernanda!

My son’s occupational therapist, Alyssa S., has worked hard to build a healthy and safe relationship with him. She knows how to challenge him while also recognizing when it’s time to step back. She’s knowledgeable, compassionate, and my son truly loves working with her. I’m incredibly grateful for her and the entire staff. The receptionist and administrative team are responsive and make the process easy. I truly appreciate Westside Therapy!

I have nothing but great things to say about Westside Glen Ellyn. I will start off with the Occupational Therapist who also did my daughter's feeding therapy, Marissa. Well she is wonderful and can work what feels like miracles at times. Allie at the front desk is easy to work with and helpful. Liz's physical and speech therapists have also been awesome and we did notice improvements that were amazing. As for the ABA team, all of them were kind and easy to talk to. I never had an negative experience there. My daughter also seemed to love all her therapists and would talk about them in her own way. It's pretty funny walking at a campground looking at campsites and Liz starts pointing to each one naming therapist names, saying they can camp there. Truthfully we would still have her therapy there if we weren't moving away.

Westside Children's Therapy is an outstanding place to take your child. My son is attending Food Therapy and I am so happy that he's trying new foods. His therapist is outstanding. She has helped my son try new things. Before Food Therapy, my son wouldn't even give broccoli, meat, or yogurt the time of day. I 100% recommend Westside Therapy.

Schaumburg West Location: The people at Westside Children's Therapy are amazing. They have been able to connect with my child so well, and they strongly support families by doing parent meetings to educate and support parents as well.

My son has been going since November 2024. This place has been nothing but amazing. My son absolutely loves going. He would rather go to Westside, than school. Everyone we have worked with and encountered has been wonderful. We have been so grateful for their help and support, and suggestions and willing to work with us to help my son. They have been open about any changes or adjustments they have to make to his plan and care, and it all has been for his benefit. He has already made so many great strides in such a short time. My husband and I love how much our son loves it and has enjoyed going, and all the progress we have already seen.
