They helped me Wheeler Clinic years ago. My mom liked them too for helping me in a nice way. They were very friendly. Now I'm looking to see if they have medical professionals working there as I need annual physical checkups for my health. They also have dentists there I have read and maybe look into that too. Thank you Wheeler Clinic in Plainville, Connecticut for being there. Probably helped saved my life back then. As I realize now you did. Stay well. Thank you Wheeler Clinic.

CONTINUALLY UPDATING...... This van from Wheeler Clinic is great. They are equipped with even a heart monitor. We need more of these. I made an appointment at a doctors office that the earliest is 6 months away. There have been urgent care facilities opening up everywhere in the state. It's like the medical field is getting ready for a major health problem. The nurses can read a major amount of my health records and even re-ordered my vitamins that I didn't even know I had a script for. Just saying thanks. June 2025. Wheeler has a care management program to help clients with extra care needs. Helping book appointments, housing, food, shelter, help finding outside doctors like specialists that your primary can give you referrals to, coordinate rides and more. I will share more as I learn more. Be well.

If you want a therapeutic setting for school and have special needs and need accommodations this is not the place for that. I came here back in 2019 because of my truancy and mental health concerns. Very quickly you will realize it is more of a psych ward setting than an actual school. Each classrooms have isolation rooms where kids who are in crisis will be brought to. It is disruptive to the class and humiliating for the child. These kids will be restrained and then pound on these heavy doors as they are locked in to scream at the other students. If a child is in crisis like this, you do not let other students witness this in their own educational environment. They do not accommodate special needs, particularly those who are neurodivergent. I had a classmate who had tourettes and got scolded and punished for having tics during class.

By far the best facility I've ever been to

Our son’s IOP treatment in the wake of his hospitalization for behavioral issues did not take into account that our son is on the autism spectrum. While focusing on his schizophrenia, we feel that Wheeler did not take into account the fact that he is autistic. The IOP counselor, Priscilla Robinson, was rude to our son and did not include him in the discussion and activities. This cold shoulder treatment of our son is NOT acceptable. Regarding Ms. Robinson, our son texted us: “ Please don't make me continue IOP. The group counselor is very unprofessional and never involves me in activity.”
