This place is HORRIBLE, I was supposed to get Prozac but got Zoloft and I felt extremely high and didn't feel right my stomach was hurting and I was staring at the wall for 20 minutes and asked for help and got NOTHING. Also there was like only female staff in the boys section and a fight broke out and a few people and I had to break it up just a terrible place would not recommend this place at all especially for young people this place made me worse.
Yes windsor lauralwood help me get back on track I'm doing great now but when I was there I feel like I'm was being ignored by some of nurses when I had a migraine I was told to lay down and they only gave me ibuprofen and that was it and at time it was hard to talk to a nurse because u could not find one or like I said they where ignoring you it was like they didn't wanna deal with you I think the clients help each other more then the nurses worst experience ever will not go back
I was scared the whole time I was at the hospital. You should really screen the types of people you let into your hospital. I came in to rest and left tramatized.
i wouldn’t wish this place on anyway. the place they describe when you watch movies and seem terrified. it’s good enough to trick yourself into doing better so you can leave faster. you don’t have group, 1 on 1 therapy or any of the other activities they say you will. maybe 1/8th of them will happen. there are some lovely staff here such as the lunch ladies and actual staff that does rounds but besides that maybe 2-3 nurses are nice within a 24 hour period and don’t even think about seeing your doctor.
My 15 year old child has been there for six days and I have heard from ZERO doctors or therapists about his condition. We have been to visit him three times and he has been deteriorating and we don’t have a clue what is going on. We have called and asked to speak with ANYONE who knows anything and nobody has called us back. Don’t take your child here!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nurses are unwilling to answer the phone when you are transferred to the nurses station. When they do answer, they place you on hold until either they hang up on you or you hang up.
Don is an amazing tech who cares about this job
Helpful staff who give great care.
Bad experience at Laurel wood . After being released , the facility botched my discharge papers . I was not given a description of what medication I should be on or even what the name of the medication was . The management team was completely useless in assisting me with follow up care . It was just a money grab , that's all that they care about there . They do not care about the patients, all they care about is money .
