My Grandson who is Autistic and pretty much non verbal has been attending school at Wings of Change. He is very happy there and has made friends! I love seeing all the pictures posted with all of their activities. He seems so much happier! He actually joined me in the kitchen while cooking and picked up a dish towel and started wiping the counters…..the big smile on his face melted my heart! Thank you to all at this center!

Wings is a place that eases all my worries! As a parent I can fully trust them with my daughter’s care, education, and well being. This school has helped her advance in so many ways and has enriched her life. She is so much more independent, confident, and social. Seeing her make friends has been amazing. The school works very hard to understand your concerns, provide ideas on how you can overcome challenges at home and in the classroom. I can’t say enough how much we love this school.

My name is John and my son is Jackson, a new student to the school in your Cuyahoga Falls location. I just felt it was important to share with the school and with his direct teachers how incredibly amazing our experience has been since joining Wings of Change. I've literally never seen my son so happy, so excited, and so energized about his learning experience. Throughout Kindergarten and 1st grade in public schools, Jackson would start the day by saying, "stay home from school?", and end the day exhausted and somewhat defeated. He would come home each day with no energy, a little cranky, and tired. Since joining Wings of Change, I wish I could explain the difference. He wakes up each morning and says, "Excited for school!", then runs around the house to get dressed, laughing and smiling the whole time. At drop off, I've literally seen him run full force into the building with a smile on his face. When we pick him up, he's so happy and so proud of himself, it's honestly unbelievable. To everyone who works at the school from the administration to the teachers and therapists- THANK YOU. Thank you for making him feel welcome, believing in him, and helping him to experience what school really should be. If I could personally hug all of you, I would (and I'm not a hugger). I just hope you all know how much your dedication means to us, and how impactful you've been on him already in his short tenure there. Please pass this along with the staff as I know everyone plays their part. You are all a blessing, all of you. Thank you, thank you, thank you! I was assured from day 1 my child would be taken care of and be safe multi times. But you will see i was lied to from day 1. 1st we will start with staff not changing diapers and sending children out the door to go home with a diaper heavier than the child. When confronted I was told they change diapers 2 times a day for Pre-K, which is a lie - I always send 5 diapers and child comes home with 4. When still happening confronted Theresa Novak (vice principal). Finally after yelling at vice president no more wet diapers. 2nd would be I gave Wings of Change Dr note that my child has pica and needs to be watch constantly. Three time she came out for pick up with small items that could get stuck in her throat, I spoke with staff all 3 times. On October 8, 2025 my child came out for pick up with something in her mouth - I asked her to give it to me and it was a STAPLE. Next day had talk and very much stated the issue. In that conversation Theresa Novak told the room the children go to for holding was not a classroom and she didn't get it from there and told me I was not permitted to talk to anyone but her and staff would meet me at door to talk child to class. My child's day back after that conversation was October 14, 2024 staff meet me at door for drop off and would not let me in the school to sign her in. What comment Wings of Change replies DO NOT take to heart. They lie to make themselves look good. Other bad reviews are correct and accurate.

So happy to have found Wings for our son. He went from attending public school, coming out looking bored to getting picked up with a look of being so content and pleased with himself. For our non-verbal man this is huge and I couldn't be happier. Wings has given us so much already and we are just getting started. Thank you

They have been wonderful with my son. They helped make the process of moving to their school as easy as they could. They also got us hook up with transportation with step by step instructions. The teachers seem to care deeply for each and every student and the girl in the office is as sweet as pie. BEST decision I could have made for my son..

My son (Level 3 Autism, Non Verbal) just started this year In the pre-K/kindergarten classroom. I've been impressed with the consistency in communication between all of my son's teachers and therapists with me. Every teacher and staff member I have interacted with is very pleasant and easy to have conversations with. I feel like my son is very safe in this environment and the adorable school dogs are a plus!

After years of challenges at another school, we chose Wings. Many reasons drove us towards this decision, one being the high accolades of my daughters doctor at Children's Hospital of Akron. My daughter has made great strides and accomplished so many goals since. The staff are amazing and my non-verbal daughter speaks, reads and does her daily routine happily with each of her staff. She comes home happy, naming her teacher and even asks for Mr. Bryan by name. She has hit milestones above and beyond our expectations, we and her doctors are so very pleased with her educational placement here. As a special needs mother I feel blessed to have such a supportive and safe environment to send my child to daily. I definitely recommend for families with children that have specific challenges and needs, they will be met with kindness and compassion. Our family has been.
