My son and I participated in enrichment programs with the baby group last year and the toddler group this year. Our experience is always very fun and interactive, as well as informative. Laura is friendly and welcoming, and we look forward to going each week!
My daughters have been in the Wonderland Babies and Wonderland Tots programs and we love them. They’re fun and we learned a lot about development and ways to play that help them develop different skills
Laura and Wonderland Therapy and Play Center has played a number of different roles in my youngest daughters first year of life! Laura came to our home when we were struggling with weight gain at 5 weeks of age. She gave us strategies to obtain a better latch for more efficient nursing sessions as we transitioned from syringe+tube supplementation. She demonstrated bottle feeding positions and how to monitor for breathing and swallowing patterns to help our daughter learn to drink from a bottle with ease. Laura recommended bottle nipple options to ensure no matter how our daughter was fed it was not a stressful experience for her. This was critical in how well she accepted a bottle once she returned to daycare. We are seeing Laura again in her therapy center for gross motor development work. The play center was the perfect space for us to celebrate our daughter's first birthday as well! Would recommend Laura and Wonderland Therapy for any OT and feeding concerns you have! She's wonderful!
I highly recommend Laura and Wonderland Therapy! She’s extremely knowledgeable and had so many amazing strategies for us to try with our son. I was pleasantly surprised at how quickly and dramatically we were able to make a difference! In only two sessions, I had so many great tools that really resonated with my son. It was tremendously effective! That was not my expectation going in after hearing from so many families that they’ve done many sessions and still didn’t feel like they had made much progress at all. I’m so happy with found Laura and were able to make life better for my son and the rest of the family too!
We did a group session (my 6 mo old and another baby) with Laura recently to help us in those first stages of “crawling”. It was so wonderful being able to see hands on demonstrations and being able to do it right there with our littles while having Laura there to guide us. There was help with the different methods of tummy time, reaching, rolling, side playing etc. We also had a session on starting solids and the different types of food to offer. I cried happy tears (no joke) because my little one just wasn’t about the texture and I wasn’t enjoying the start of food at all. During this session Laura introduced different tools and suggested ideas to help make starting food so much easier and less stressful. I could not recommend Wonderland Therapy enough! Laura is so great at answering questions after your session and continues to offer help throughout. We loved it and will definitely be signing up for more! ☺️
