Brittany is super easy to work with and set us up with therapists who are warm, come with fun toys to engage play based speech therapy and flexible when I needed to pop out / have another caregiver there to "learn the ropes." Very pleased and our family learned a lot about how to help our 2 year old with his speech delay.

My child and I have had such a positive experience with WordPlay. Brittany has been great with her communication and the therapists that we have worked with have been so warm, kind, welcoming and nurturing while providing such a fun learning environment for my child. My child has also shown improvement through the work that has been done so far. The convenience of having the therapist come to my home has also been top notch so I don’t need to figure out logistics and transport amid a busy workday for myself. I would 10 out of 10 recommend working with WordPlay if your child requires a speech therapist.

WordPlay helped our speech-delayed two year old and taught us so much. We were able to set up an evaluation quickly, got extensive feedback, and started sessions right away. Our daughter thoroughly enjoyed the sessions with all of the fun toys and Courtney kept it very engaging. She gave us strategies to use throughout the week and helped us as parents to know how to foster communication and learning through play. We are so happy with her progress the last few months!

My 2.5 year old has a significant delay in his expressive communication. We have had the pleasure of doing in-home sessions with Brittany and Zoe over the last few months. I found WordPlay on a google search. After my son’s speech therapist’s son moved out of state, we struggled to find another therapist whom he felt comfortable to work with. I reached out to WordPlay and Brittany responded right away. She gave me all the information I needed to know including what I needed to ask my insurance, and she gave me some options of therapists and times that would work for us. Leah, the speech therapist she set us up with, is a perfect fit for my son. My son, age 9, meets each week virtually, which at first, I wasn’t sold on. But he actually is much more comfortable in front of a screen than in-person, and he has the added benefit of seeing his mouth formations in the screen, so it has been such a perfect set-up. He’s been working with Leah for about 2 months now- and we’ve already noticed such an improvement. And he is able to self correct when prompted, and his confidence about his speech is clearly improving as well. I also have to mention that my son has so much fun during his speech sessions. I never hear a complaint from him about doing them, and he is always in such a happy mood afterwards. And after each session, Leah gives us such a good debrief on his improvement and “homework” to work on between sessions. We’ve just had the ideal experience with WordPlay!
