Comprehensive ABA therapy services tailored to your needs
I am a special needs mother. I have been sitting on a waitlist with Yellow Bus for going on 3 years, initial request was in 2022. I understand that there are longer waits due to the increase of children with needs, however I do not feel this is an acceptable wait time. My child is in need of services and I do not feel that this wait is fully truthful. I have submitted several forms because I cannot reach anyone to check on the status of my wait. I feel as though this is because they do not want to provide services with my insurance carrier. Completely unacceptable for children in need of services.
Yellow bus does everything it can to provide the pinnacle of excellence in regards to individualized behavioral analysis and treatment for children on the spectrum. The staff works together with so much effort so each child can develop critical skills that last a lifetime, in regards to individualized behavior, social skills, and so much more.
I have been impressed with Yellow Bus ABA in Mineola, particularly due to their exceptional staff who are very welcoming. Our primary aim is to teach clients effective ways to manage their feelings and express themselves in a distinctive and meaningful way.
Recently coming into the Mineola center as a BT once a week was a delightful experience. The friendly atmosphere created by the staff and clients made it enjoyable for my own client on his first day. Engaging in social activities like toy bowling enhanced our sessions, while the spacious environment allowed for activities like bike riding and wagon rides. We’re all assigned private rooms to focus on one-on-one work. The morning greeting songs was a great way to start the day. Additionally, the center has a diverse array of amenities, including a toy house spacious enough for two kids to go inside, various bikes, a toy kitchen, a cashier station, OT toys, a drawing corner, and a wide assortment of toys ranging from dinosaurs to vegetables. Overall, the center greatly improved our rapport, and I’m excited for future visits.
I was so hopeful when I found them because of advertisements but now so very disappointed. My son was diagnosed January 2023 and early intervention didn’t find any services so I went looking for them myself. I found yellow bus aba and they were SOOO quick with everything. Paperwork, they emailed me everyday checking in until I sent. They were persistent, making sure I got a prescription for insurance, phone calls, house calls. All for what? To email me every week for months now to say that you haven’t found a technician for my kid? You had enough workers to call everyday to run insurance. On top of that, they emailed me another parents address and Child’s name by accident. This is so dangerous because what if the wrong person receives these peoples home address. I took my son out and will be making sure the insurance isn’t being charged.
