I feel so thankful to have found Kate at her practice (Yellow Key Collaborative) in 2021. Kate has helped me move through crisis and into a stage where I am really taking care of my mental health. I appreciate how she doesn't approach things as a one size fits all. I've utilized EMDR, internal family systems and even somatic work with Kate, and it has helped me tremendously work through complex trauma that has come up since becoming a parent. She is caring, thoughtful, flexible and is a great choice for anyone looking for help. I couldn't recommend her more!

Kate is a ray of sunshine and so welcoming! She's insightful, knowledgable, compassionate and a deep listener. She has a great sense of when to ask questions, when to press, when to listen and when to be silent. She easily and clearly explains counseling terms and methodologies to make you feel comfortable with the processes that come along with therapy. Yellow Key Collab is a calming place just walking in the door.

Kate at YKC helped me work through several major traumas and daily challenges. We used several techniques such as EMDR, brain spotting, Gottman theory among others. I have been seeing Kate Kneifel for several years at Yellow Key Collaborative. Her approach to therapy has been extremely beneficial for me.
