Young & Well

LOVED our experiences with Young and Well. My daughter was diagnosed with selective mutism and we had struggles with social interactions. We signed up for art classes and later aquatic therapy. Our family vacations to the river have become SO much more enjoyable - my daughter wanted to get in the water as soon as she woke up (it was historically a struggle to get her feet wet). Looking forward to joining more programs in the future and highly recommend everyone on staff.

Our son thrived at Young and Well. We originally wanted services for handwriting and we got so much more. Vian worked with him on OT goals, but also being a more flexible thinker- rules, food, life, etc. It was worth every second of being there and now our son is doing so well. As parents, we also learned strategies to help our son. Highly recommend!

We have been at Young and Well for a few months now. We see Vian for OT for my 5 year old son. We were noticing some fine and gross motor delays. He also was struggling with some anxiety and low confidence surrounding trying new or unfamiliar activities. Well, he LOVES going to OT and gets excited anytime he hears that we are going. He has made major strides in all areas of concern since we've been attending and his confidence has definitely improved! Vian is also amazing about providing activities for my younger and older kids to do while we wait. They love going with their brother to appointments almost as much as he does. They are also great about working with insurance to get treatment covered and if they are not able to, they charge a lower out of pocket cost. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who is seeing potential needs in their kids. You can always get an evaluation done to see if their services may benefit your child/ family as well!

We absolutely LOVE Young & Well! I brought my son in for an OT evaluation last year. As an early childhood educator and mom, I have been so impressed by Heather, Joanna, and Vian. Relationships are at the heart of the work they do to support young children and their families. Joanna was extremely responsive and supportive as I worked to gain clarity from my insurance company about my coverage. From day one, Vian put my anxious son's nerves at ease and make him feel safe & comfortable in working with her. She is caring, engaging, and fun...leveraging her relationships to apply just the right balance of care and push. As a result, my son has made INCREDIBLE progress with her! He looks forward to playing with her each week and I love that he sees his work with her as play.

We love Heather and Anne. They have been working with my son for almost two years and he's made great strides- not only in fine and gross motor but in confidence as well. He loves going to OT and I love the personal relationships we have built. We also sent our oldest when she was 6 for a few months to work specifically on handing and Heather did a fabulous job with her- Heather specifically did the "Handwriting Without Tears" program with her and her handwriting is terrific now. In fact, she gets compliments on it from people now. We couldn't say more nice things about Young & Well, we highly recommend!
