A Mind Above | Psychotherapy

The only reason they're getting two stars instead of one is because of their therapists. Faith is an amazing therapist and I highly recommend this place for therapy only. However, my experience with the nurse practitioner has not been good and I'm very upset by it. I have been a client with them for almost 2 years, and my insurance recently changed to something they no longer accept. I had tried contacting them beforehand to get my ADHD medication settled. I never heard back. I tried calling back now with my new insurance and they said that they could not meet with me and that I would have to pay out of pocket for it which would cost about $150 for just the appointment and medication prescription alone. Never mind for the medication itself. I'm very disappointed with this office and with its staff. My medication is not something I can function without. And they are aware of this.

I appreciate the kind and organized office staff, especially Gustavo, who is compassionate and takes time to explain everything. I never feel rushed, and my concerns are always met with genuine care. After some discouraging past experiences, I now feel valued and supported at A Mind Above.

So far tel med therapy has been great

My counselor Quentina Johnson is amazing. I have worked with her for 10 months now and she has helped me immensely. She is warm and friendly and a very skilled therapist. I have been treated with love, respect and dignity by the entire staff. I would recommend them to anyone in need of a therapist (and I have). They are an amazing group of people with the best interest of their clients. Thank You A Mind Above. Love You All.

IDK whats up with the bad reviews but A mind Above has been nothing but great for me and has helped me cope with my situation. There is no such thing as a perfect place but this place is the closest to perfect that I've been to. I highly recommend this office to all my friends and family.

I’ve been doing weekly virtual visit since February 2024. I’ve never had a problem scheduling or rescheduling appointments. The staff is always great when I speak with them. I’m thrilled with my personal growth and emotional maturity. I still have a long ways to go. I believe everyone could benefit from therapy. Especially if you suffer from corporate burnout, generational trauma, expressing yourself, and setting healthy boundaries. Dr. Marie Joy Quiton-Buaya has helped me tremendously. I have never felt more at peace than I am now. I highly recommend A Mind Above.
