Was once an excellent provider, but the owner laments for years her difficulty recruiting and keeping staff. My son regressed from full inclusion to a residential facility. The inexperienced RBT actually gave testimony that led to this placement, and eventually was cited for ethics violations by the BACB. Owner went from advocating I share my concerns with BACB to calling my complaint harassment, then never acknowledged the oversight committee’s investigation finding and citing that multiple violations in fact occurred. There are many other, better managed, agencies for ABA therapy.

I got ABA therapy services from ABA Midwest for almost a year. I have neither observed sustainability nor professionalism. In the beginning, the therapist has been changed and in a week or so, then the settled therapist used her family issues as an excuse for not showing up. In addition to that, special kids are mostly so active and it is really challenging to control and guide them. In our case, the therapist was, in the beginning, so active and controlling the whole session. Later on, she became just following my son and watched tv and sang. Overall, this is a really challenging and life-changing job, it should be done accordingly.

ABA Midwest has been amazing in our sons journey in his autism diagnosis. It was the 1st clinic we had ever sign up for, and they guided us through the process. They have been very helpful dealing with insurance and making sure my son was receiving the best care possible. We had the honor of getting Alejandra as our RBT, she bonded with our son amazingly!! Couldn't have asked for more from her, yes it was work but she made it fun for him so he wanted to participate willingly. Kristiano started as non-verbal and now he can say a few words, his behavior has improved tremendously and overall he is a happier boy because he can communicate with us his need in his own way. I can't stress how important it is for the RBT to bond with your child, but understand that it might take time for your child to get there. Overall our time (1yr)with this company has been more then great! You won't regret giving your child the opportunity that ABA offers.
