ABLE Kids

my son absolutely loves coming here, he even asks us if we can take him on the weekends! He enjoys hanging out with his friends and teachers (as he calls them), his favorites being Alyssa, Devin, and Nassier (forgive me for the spelling!). I really like how Able Kids allows my sons OT & speech therapists to come to their clinic, allowing him to get the services he needs, and makes my life a little bit easier. The RBTs always seem energetic and so happy to see him every single morning. It truly seems like they are passionate about their work and it’s not just a “job” to them. I also like how they are able to get onto his level and play with him and engage his imagination and creativity. Can not say enough great things about the RBTs here!!

To any anyone looking for a group of amazing people who will help and support you in having a child with different needs. The whole staff her is always nice and make my son look forward to coming here. It allows my son to also be on a school schedule and get him adapted to that next chapter in his life. My son always comes home and talks about his friends and his teachers one being Ms.Alyssa who always greets our son with q smile on her face. I know it can be hard for our son with new people but they know what they are doing and how to teach well.

I believe you are going to love making the decision to include ABLE KIDS ABA program as apart of your child's skill building and behavioral management team like I have done if you have a lil one like mine with a diagnosis of Autism. If you are like me, I know its difficult at times to understand your child to control some of their loud outburst, hitting instead of self regulated responses & spontaneous over & under stimulated reactions but you are not alone. I have confidence in this program because I interact with each RBT closely daily and see the amount of time & effort Elliot, the program's BCBA, puts into this program towards acknowledging my child's goals, challenges, moods, and adjustments that come up and without hesitation, Elliot moves quickly to intervene to see what is best. Since my son has started, I have not nearly seen him stomping his feet out of anger like he was constantly doing & if he goes to lean in to hit me, its like he will stop automatically & reconsider calmly. I cant tell you enough how you need someone like Elliot in this program-his communication skills are higher level up than anyone I have spoken to since my son was diagnosed at 2 years old-he is now 5 1/2 years old. Elliott has tons of understanding about the challenges of Autism, explains in detail about your child's day as if that child were his own, and he pays close attention to changes, details & your child's personality plus their strengths & weaknesses that matches your intentions, understandings and reason you placed your child in ABA. I have been brought to tears how Elliot sees the brightness in my child and has worked hard to put the right RBTs in his corner and I have no doubt he will do the same for you. Thanks Kristen & Logan for the love you are showing my lil sunshine, the work that it takes everyday to wake up and show up for these kids & how you pay attention to his needs to share with me each day and Kathy & Sam for helping and being apart of what makes this a real team.

Great daycare , there very friendly & quick to let me & my wife know if anything happens . Wish we found it Sooner , all of the teachers are great. My daughter is level 3 autistic so she doesn’t talk yet but she has been giving more eye contact & she’s been mumbling way more since she got here. My family & Layla Appreciate everything they’ve done so far.

My daughter goes here and she loves it especially her RBT Kiara! Since starting she has progressed so much especially with her social skills and her tolerance with her sensory issues. The other support staff has also been amazing and they make sure to always keep you informed with your child's day whether it is good or they had a day with struggles. If you are on the fence please give Able Kids a try.

The mauldin clinic is amazing. Children ages 2-6 receive ABA, speech, and occupational therapy. I have personally seen the development of many kiddos in this program. Amazing staff and amazing ABA therapy.

I highly recommend ABLE Kids for parents who are seeking assistance for their children in need of ABA Therapy. They have helped us so much and the staff is amazing. They care for the children as if they were their own. We will miss everyone that has played a major role in our child's life. His BCBA and RBTs have been phenomenal to work with and we truly appreciate the hard work and dedication that you all have played apart of each day! Its an honor to have an organization that feels like family and welcomed us with open arms. Thanks again!

We withdrew both of our children after only 3 weeks of enrollment because the safety concerns were impossible to ignore. My child came home every single week with an incident report sometimes more than one and the same week. For a center that claims their therapists are “arm’s length” from the child at all times, the consistent injuries and accidents simply did not line up with the level of supervision we were promised. It also became a pattern for my child to come home with soaking wet or mud-covered clothes, which is a clear indicator that supervision was not happening the way it should. While a few of the RBTs were kind and attentive, many appeared disengaged, uninterested, or simply not focused on my child’s safety or progress. Another major concern was the handling of documentation. The director changed diagnostic information without confirming with the physician or communicating with us first. That lack of transparency is unacceptable when it comes to a child’s medical and developmental records. Even during the evaluation phase, the director was unfocused, inattentive, and not thorough in her questioning. Her attention drifted to other children in the room, which made me uneasy from the start. Unfortunately, our experience confirmed those early concerns. We withdrew both children immediately and will not be returning.
