Parent Review: A Cautionary Experience with ABA Therapy Services As a dedicated parent and advocate for my autistic son, I entered into this ABA journey hopeful and optimistic that we would receive the quality of care my son desperately needed. Unfortunately, my experience with this ABA provider has been profoundly disappointing and emotionally draining. From the very beginning, we faced serious issues with therapist consistency and professionalism. The first therapist lacked reliability, failed to maintain proper transportation, and even fabricated policies to justify repeated absences. The second therapist, instead of focusing on Zachariah’s progress, engaged in unprofessional behavior and made disparaging comments that created tension and discomfort in our home. After raising concerns multiple times, I continued to extend grace and hope for improvement—only to be met with even more turnover. A third therapist became a no-call, no-show, with no communication or explanation provided. Then came the fourth therapist, who seemed kind but was dealing with personal matters that prevented her from showing up on her start date—again with no clear communication from the company. By that point, I had reached my limit. My son was already being delayed from starting speech services because ABA therapy must be completed first, yet we couldn't even complete one consistent month of service due to chronic staffing issues. Over the course of several months, four therapists were assigned to my son's case, and not a single one could offer consistent, uninterrupted care. The communication from the company has been disorganized and reactive, rather than proactive. Promises were made, start dates were missed, and not once did I feel like my son’s care was prioritized. As a parent, I did my part. I created shared calendars, responded promptly to scheduling needs, and gave the company every opportunity to do right by my child. But instead of stability, I was met with excuses, delays, and disruptions that no family should have to endure. Final Thoughts: If you're a parent looking for reliable ABA services, I strongly urge you to ask about therapist retention and staff turnover. If you're seeking consistency and communication, you may want to continue your search elsewhere. My son’s progress and well-being were directly impacted by this experience—and that is something I do not take lightly. We have since moved on and are actively seeking a provider who values family-centered practices, consistent therapist placement, and professional communication.
