Airborne ABA Therapy In Colorado

There is so many things I could say about this place. My son was receiving ABA services through airborne for the past 4 months or so. The ABA center we had prior to airborne had sadly closed down. Airborne had given me so much hope all the progress my son had been making with his prior ABA center would continue . I had let it be known since the beginning how important consistency and routine was for my son. Yet every time a RBT called off not once was there ever a substitute or a bcba that would step in . At first I was very understanding and patient but when my son started intensive potty training (something we had been preparing for, for almost 2 months) a rbt called off on the second day of potty training and STILL no substitute or BCBA to step in. I called David that day in tears saying how this is not okay and how my son was being affected by this. You could see it in his behavior in his emotions and his meltdowns started coming back from so much inconsistency. The responses from David and my sons bcba and the scheduling team was always the same “ I’m so sorry this is happening,I understand your frustration we want what’s best for your son, etc but still no change. Don’t even get me started on the LACK of communication from all 3. There were so many times when a rbt would call off and I wouldn’t get notified till 5 - 10 min prior to the set appointment time. Come to find out the RBT’s would notify them days or weeks prior they would need to call off. So the scheduling team would always and I mean always tell me last minute. Sometimes I wouldn’t be told anything at all. Or I would call to cancel session and the RBT’s would still show up because NO ONE would tell them anything either ! Another thing that was beyond upsetting and hurtful was how rarely we would see his bcba. His prior bcba would at least see him once every 2 weeks but even then she always stayed in communication with us and the RBT’s checking in on my son asking from both sides how we are feeling, hearing any concerns and always addressing those concerns if any. She was very involved. I would rarely see this BCBA I would message her when we would see her next and get no response. I would ask the RBT’s to reach out for concerns of my son back tracking in his progress because of the inconsistency and what we can do . Still no response . Any concerns I addressed to her it was the same response that I stated before. I don’t think David, Sarah or anyone had my child as any kind of priority. I don’t think they cared about any of my worries or concerns or my child’s progress. As a parent I am incredibly hurt and frustrated by this entire experience but most of all I feel terrible for a backtracking in progress, increase in melt downs, the frustration , the waste of time my son went through because of all of this. I would never want something so inconsistent so inconsiderate for my son. They keep adding more clients spreading themselves thinner when they don’t even have the staff for it which in the end only effects the kids they already do have . Also if your thinking of applying here as a RBT please know my sons RBT put in her two weeks because of all these problems and instead of letting her finish her two weeks they cleared her schedule of all her clients , she called and reached out multiple times times with no answer. That should tell you the level of unprofessionalism they have . I never leave reviews but I wish I could’ve seen a review about this place so I could know not to even consider this as an option. Aba is such a great choice for kids with special needs but please the first sign of red flags ,inconsistency, lack of communication, no response to any questions or concerns, no care for your child’s progress LEAVE listen to your gut and leave don’t be like me who stayed for 4 months in hopes of a change.
