Ms. Sara and Ms. Kelly are awesome ! My son has been coming here for speech for sometime now and they have been awesome! Grahm loves coming and seeing you guys they make it fun for him while still learning
I have made calls and done inquires about scheduling my daughter as this place was recommended by the other therapy location that could not take my daughter but did the whole assessment. I even had her pediatrician put in 4 referrals and I have not gotten any phone calls back or anything! This has been going on for almost a year now and it is absolutely ridiculous. Its to the point where my daughters pediatrician office wants to remove this place as an option/ recommendation especially if one family hasn't even been contacted since March! At this point, Im not sure if this place is even worth it if nobody can respond. Very poor communication and response.
I’m very disappointed with my experience at amazing care pediatric outpatient therapy. I was told to arrive at 9:55, but never told that the actual appointment started at 9:55. I arrived at 10:09 after packing a big lunch for my daughter, only to be told that she could not be seen. This was especially upsetting because I had been waiting months for this appointment. There was no clear communication about the exact appointment start time, and I feel like there could have been more understanding and flexibility, especially when dealing with young children. After waiting so long, to be turned away for being a few minutes late felt very unprofessional and insensitive. Clearer communication and a little compassion would go a long way.
I did not have a good experience with them. The first two sessions, I was with my daughter. The third session, the OT and SLP took my daughter alone, they said they wanted to work with her without me. By the end of the session, when they brought her to me, she was crying her eyes out, she was inconsolable! Then I noticed a bruise on her leg! When I asked them , the OT replied it is because the carpet is rough.
Regarding my daughter's speech therapy, that service itself with the therapist was great and I saw some significant progress. However, if you have more than two children, I would strongly recommend going to a different clinic, as there was always an issue with my kids being kids (including a toddler) while waiting for my daughter to be done with her sesison. There was a huge lack of understanding, compassion, and also lack of transparency. Any issue would be directed straight to administration without any form of direct communication with me from the therapist. If you have a big family and value transparency and compassion, go elsewhere!
We worked with Greg for my son’s physical therapy for a few months and I only have positive things to say! My husband and I so appreciated his warmth and professionalism. We started with him when our son was about 8 weeks old, it felt easy to trust him with how comfortable and patient he was at each appointment. He addressed our questions and concerns with empathy and thoroughness. All the exercises and stretching have definitely helped our son overcome his torticolis, and we learned so much along the way. If you are needing PT for your infant I highly recommend this clinic and Greg :)
I was not notified that my sons OT was out in advance and I drove an hour to get there with no apologies from the receptionist. My son did like the OT a lot and is very upset, but I do not like the disrespect I had today, and I don't see the 20 to 25 min session he gets to be worth the hour drive.
I called in March for an initial evaluation. During this call, they said an in person evaluation would be necessary and they'd call me to schedule. I left voicemails and sent emails to schedule and never heard back. Three months later (June), they called to schedule and the soonest they can do the evaluation is three months from now (September). Terrible communication and follow up
We have just had a few sessions so far, but our 18 month old is doing well in speech with Ms. Tina. This is a nice facility and overall their wait time was much shorter than other places, such as Children's Hospital. We feel well cared for and are glad to have found a good therapy home! While we aren't in any kind of PT, their play gym facility looks incredible!
Highly recommend for speach therapy. Emily is thorough, fun, highly encouraging and very knowledgeable. We are grateful to get our child the necessary support and in an eval that was very disarming, welcoming, and helpful.
