Ascension Center

I’ve had the opportunity to observe the operations at Aerie Therapy (formerly Ascension Center) closely, and I want to offer an honest perspective that may be helpful to families considering their services. The children who receive support here are at the heart of what makes this place meaningful. Many of the frontline staff are passionate, compassionate, and truly dedicated to their work with clients. That said, based on what I observed, there are several aspects of the company’s service delivery that may be worth considering. Staffing levels seemed inconsistent, and waitlists for services were long. In some cases, I noticed that families of children with more intensive behavioral needs experienced delays in support or follow-up, particularly in situations involving recurring safety concerns. Resources also appeared limited—many therapy tools and materials were either improvised or provided by individual staff members rather than the company itself. While this speaks to the dedication of the team, it may also indicate organizational challenges that could impact the consistency of care. If I were looking into ABA services for a loved one, I would encourage asking thoughtful questions about staff support, safety protocols, and how the company ensures quality care for clients with a range of needs. This reflection is based on my direct observations and interactions, and while experiences may vary, I hope this helps others make informed decisions.

I really liked that they had next day appointments and they sent me text message reminders. I also appreciated they were the ones who contacted me that my referral was received. The office was clean and welcoming and the staff was nice and friendly.

The staff here are very thorough and helpful. They were extremely kind to my daughter and I felt like they took their time to get an assessment of my daughter. I highly recommend and am grateful for my appointment and the help that my daughter will be able to have in the future because of this place.

It was a wonderful experience to get my son to his assessment in this office, they was bilingual something that was perfect to be able to communicate with my toddler, very professional but in the same time felt like home too
