I can't speak to the Therapy itself. I was really looking forward to trying to work with this company. My son has autism and a family friends son has services through this company. I've also heard of them myself as well. I've been looking for ABA services in this area for a while. I left a message did get a call back with all of these intake questions about a week after I left a voicemail. The lady took all my info and then told me that they had some availability in my area during the time slot that my son needs but would depend on how much time I can allot if they are willing to take the case. I admit we could do just about 10 stretching it and most of these companies like minimum 10 to take a case so we were right at the minimum.. About a week later, I got an email declining his services with no reason in the email given. When I called to find out why the operator told me that it's because they don't have the time slot available that my son needs. I let him know that I was told that they did have that time slot available in my area already and that I was hoping to speak to someone on the clinical team to better understand. He gave me the clinical director's name Brea Waterbury.. I called twice and left two messages. I've also left a message at the front desk and sent an email back in response requesting clarification on the day that I received the email. I haven't heard back from anyone. I just think it's a little unprofessional to decline the service without better specifying and then when more clarification is requested, it seems like I'm being given some sort of fake reason since I was told that that time in this area is available.. it's likely that they declined because they want someone who has more availability so they'll get paid more. Unfortunately that's very typical in this field. And while yes, it may be more helpful for a child to have 15 hours after a full day of school to better help him master certain skills, 10 hours is still enough to make a difference without completely taking over my child's life. So in automatically declining and giving the fake excuse that it was for not having availability in the area, which I know isn't true, let's be honest it's the billable and staff hours that are really making you decline. it's hard enough to be searching for services for your child with special needs. I've called probably 20 places and have heard back from maybe three or four and then out of those three or four people do stuff like this. Makes any resource extremely difficult to find. On top of that it’s very hard to get a hold of anyone at this company..

I would give this place negative stars if I could- I have a severely autistic six-year-old and have been in search of ABA therapy for a long time due to waitlists - when Easter seals contacted me about this clinic I was so excited and the director contacted me right away to come in for a tour. I came down right away. Upon entering the facility for the first time- there was a lady sitting behind the front desk with a mask on (who didn’t even acknowledge my presence)- I immediately asked her if “Dai” was available since I was meeting with her - the lady behind the desk “Cecilia” proceeds to lecture me about controlling my son! Apparently, in the brief moment in which I turned to ask to meet with Dai- there was a hidden elevator in the back that rang, and my son stepped into it. Cecilia, in the most condescending tone possible, starts lecturing me that I better control my son! When I called her out on her rudeness, she proceeded to be confrontational with me ! I’m literally flabbergasted that in a space that should be a safe space for parents and children who are struggling, we would be treated so horribly! I mean, if anybody should understand it should be people that work with autistic children and families for a living! Dai eventually came out and also lectured me on why my son couldn’t step into the elevator- as opposed to immediately apologizing for her receptionist’s unacceptable behavior! Dai was at least apologetic afterwards. There’s no way I would ever trust my son in that environment- nor should anyone else! - it should be shut down!!!

We were referred to AST by Easter seals for our daughter to obtain ABA services with AST. We started approximately 1 month ago. So far our experience has been great! Our therapist is Luis G. and he is absolutely outstanding with our daughter (caring, patient, understanding, and all for it!) Although it has been a short time with this company everything has been great so far! We cannot wait to see our daughters progress in 6 months -12 months from now. It takes a village and we are so happy that we have a wonderful team to work with in being able to help our daughter achieve amazing things!! Thank you AST!!
