They never answered the phone. My husband and I called over 30 times. Now im not even tryna be rude but I felt uncomfortable sending my child there and reaching anyone is practically impossible. I was disappointed because the lady in the front seems soo nice and caring.
This establishment is the more disgusting place I've ever dealt with, especially the owner, Shatrece Jenkins/Tracy Jones and her employees, Tamra and or Tammy. I have been working with this center for 6 months and they kept saying they have a spot for my son to start immediately after his insurance is approved. She did not conduct an evaluation of my son, just took him to the back for five minutes then said they already know what the report should say. I found out the claim was denied because they did not fully complete the paperwork properly. I had to bring it to their attention and when i did, they played it off as if i submitted the wrong thing. Due to me showing concern for the lack of professionalism, having to call the practice over 17 times to talk to someone, waiting for months on end to get an answer, i requested my son's medical information and as a result they are withholding it even after i sent them an email with the policy and rights for medical information being withheld by HIPAA. I was notified today as a form of retaliation that he is currently on a waitlist and when asked why wasn't i notified, Tamra said they didn't deem it necessary after I have been working with them since May. The owner/Tamra as she noted being her name was extremely rude to me on the phone today, she was verbally abusive and condescending. She berated me as if she i was not a human being like herself. As someone who is in the field for taking care of our little ones, its disappointing the way how she behaved and the level of disrespect that was shown to me because i advocated my son. I have never seen kids for drop off or pick up. She is always berating individuals for wanting to have a tour of the center. This institution needs to be investigated ASAP. I will be filing complaints with the proper authorities to let them know the individuals working here/owner is unfit to care for children.
This was truly the most awful experience for me and my son. I honestly believe all the reviews are fake (since the all 5 stars) and something truly shady is going on here. The director has an attitude where is will try to belittle parents. My son went here for a month and I was not allowed to meet any RBTs, was not able to view his plan of care. They leave parents in the dark about what the children in the “center” do all day. I pulled my son out immediately after sensing something weird is going on. At pick up and drop off, they always rushed me out and when I asked why, they always resorted to how it’s a “clinic”—- I never saw any parents at pick up and drop off, and there was always an older gentleman who would be there and they never explained exactly what his role is at the school. The director seems warm in the beginning but it’s all fake. She could care less about keeping parents abreast on what children do thair all day. I truly believe this place needs to be investigated.
This Clinic is so wonderful and has made a huge impact in the community. Their work with autistic children is so amazing and we are lucky to have them in the area. Call them and schedule a consultation today!!!
My daughter absolutely loves it here. She lights up when we pull into the parking lot and never wants to leave at the end of her sessions. It’s truly become a second home for her. The joy, progress, and confidence we’ve seen in her since starting has been nothing short of a miracle. The Staff is wonderful! From the moment you walk in, you can feel the warmth, care, and dedication of the entire team and administration. 10 out of 10! I highly recommend this facility to any family that is looking for a safe, nurturing & expert led environment for their child’s behavioral growth.
When I tell you this place has been a life changer for my family and my son who’s a 4yr old Level 3 Nonverbal Autistic child! It’s like he’s a different kid in less than a year! Of course he still has a long way to go but in under a year he went from ZERO independence to using his own words and repeating others’ words more often. He’s also started following some directions like washing his hands and putting away his shoes. As a parent with an Autistic child, every little step means SO much. I almost cried when I picked up some nuggets and fries for dinner this week and my son kept saying “I hungry…more fries please”. I absolutely love Ms. Jenkins, Ms. Roe and Ms. Norma, and my son LOVES them too and has definitely formed a bond with them. He LOVES going there and I love to see his happy dance in the backseat each morning when he realizes we’re almost at therapy. He definitely loves some of the new activity equipment they just got in- they’re definitely doing everything they can to continue to improve the center to help kids learn through fun activities that I imagine helps regulate their nervous systems at the same time. I also love that BTS is very protective of all the kids and they make sure they know who’s picking up each child and random strangers aren’t able to just walk in the door….especially in the world we live in today. My son is a handful and a half, I know, but yet everyone there still embraces that about him and cheers him on with every big and small step he takes towards success and for that I’m forever grateful. 🤗
