Rude ,rude, rude. The operator doesn't give BlueRidge a good name. Not very helpful. They do not take mental health in children .seriously . I wouldn't recommend using this service. I've canceled all appointments. TRUST ME anywhere is better than this .
You can't get anyone to answer the phone. I was put with a nurse while waiting for a psychiatrist. They nurse is not in-network. I have an appt. with her and billing was suppose to call about this mess. I have wasted 6 months needing help. You get no help here..
This place is ridiculous. No appointment times, just because we have mental issues doesn't mean we don't have a life. They don't listen to you and throw you in groups not pertaining to your issues. Some people, like myself, can not do groups due to their illness and these people DONT CARE! This place only makes the issue worse and I would NEVER suggest this place to even an enemy.
Today I was seen at Blue Ridge Behavioral Care in Roanoke, Virginia. I arrived thinking I would have a walk-in appointment for a psychiatric evaluation with a medical doctor in the form of a psychiatrist. This was completely misleading information. I arrived and all secretaries and welcome people were very friendly. I spoke to a woman named Lucy who helped me check in. She stated today I would have to see a therapist and that tomorrow, I could see an actual psychiatrist. I was angry, but I understood. But the purpose of this review is to tell you how inefficient this company is now because of unnecessary government regulations. My therapist was named Angie. Angie was extremely kind and caring. She was punctual, respectful, and listened to everything I had to say. Angie said she was sorry for the confusing information I was provided on the phone call I made about being able to see a psychiatrist. On a walk-in. Angie told me that everything here used to run smoothly until they were forced to work with MTS Consulting. I also called her boss to ask him about that. I left him a voicemail, and he did not return my call yet. Thank you.
My psychiatrist is awesome. He listens well, and we make plans together for my meds. The only negative I've seen in my year at Blue Ridge is the policy for no call no-shows. I accidentally did a no call no-show once, as I forgot about an appointment. They stopped sending refills of my medication immediately. I had to be unmedicated until I was able to sit and wait for hours to be reinstated, and then scheduled in again. The staff is amazing. The policy sucks.
I think it is awesome.
The blue ridge is ever cool
The psychiatrist helps with my medications, but I keep getting new case workers. I can't get anything done with having to repeat new introductions to each new worker. Plus you have to go through introducing them to the things you want done. They then research how they can help you, when I already know.
Was there for business purpose.
