I loved this place before a horrible event that took place and I was treated like a horrible parent who’s ignorant and didn’t care for their child. I never knew that someone would be treated less than due to lack of transparency, transportation and compassion. My son was stuck at the center until 8:30 due to a situation that a ride share program caused. The police was called and made a report and I was told that dfacs would be involved by the police unethical and outright ridiculous. I’m not by all needs neglectful but was treated like that. I’m disappointed in what my son had to experience and I was also told that my son services would be paused for the next day and a meeting will be held in teams so set up number two because teams does not work and they are aware but do not care it to cover them not my child I also feel like this meeting is to limit my child not help him! I put trust in to you all and now I’m walking on thin ice with the law concerning my child. I’m a single mother with limited means of transportation in other words I don’t drive but I make a way yesterday could have been avoided it was t my fault I explain that to the officer and was ignored and was told going forward what will happen going forward so this doesn’t happen again and that I’ve been consistently late picking up my son which was a complete lie! Disappointed to say the least if I have to do better so should this center, the ride share and the police. I was also told that the center knows that a standing order for transportation can be done by their authorization another thing no one told me about. This is transparency about what transpired in the last 24 hours I’m horrified and not sure if I want my son to go back
The staff here is nothing short of amazing! We’ve been with the center for a year and a half, and my daughter has made significant progress and improvements. When I leave my baby here, I have confidence they have her best interest at heart, and will care for her as I do. Everyone is awesome; SPECIAL THANKS to Urooj, Peyton, and Briana. You're playing a significant role in my Villiage, and I appreciate each of you!!! ❤️
Our daughter has been really enjoying her time working with these therapists, it shows in her attitude and demeanor. The process itself (pickup, packing your own lunch, meetings with the director, using the tools) can be confusing for a first-time parent, but everyone is super helpful.
Love the staff at the center, lots of changes for the better have been happening and they certainly strive for safety and progress with all of the clients they serve.
I wish I could leave a 0 star review. I loved the actual therapist , but the people put in place as far as the leadership are horrific. My son , who is level 3 , was kicked out because of his “behavior” . Very disheartening to know that these people are saying they provide services for children with this diagnosis but do not truly have the resources to do so. They have a very high turnover rate , which could possibly contribute to hindering the kids success. The one staff member , Ashley, was fired due to whatever reason but I lost all hope after her because she seemed so promising . I wouldn’t recommend this center to any one . And to respond and lie like it was due to conflicts with pickup and drop off is insane . I very rarely ran into issues with such . Please do better. Your email clearly says it’s due to behavior . Yall originally stated he would be put on pause until a decrease in his challenging behaviors .
Do not go to this office. It is filthy. The children do not have an assigned therapist. They treat this place like a daycare with minimal supervision. They are NOT very friendly. They are nice in the beginning and if they cannot bill the provider, then your child is useless. They look at kids and all they see is dollar signs. Your child will not be safe here. They have minimal play areas for the children and it’s set up like an office. It’s a small box. Dacy Jhonson and Ali Sehar are completely unprofessional. They refused to provide quality, loving, and professional care to my poor 3 year old struggling with Autism. Luckily I found another provider that accommodated the needs of my child and had a clean facility.
