I had the opportunity to observe a classroom setting as a personal guest of Lauren Persons, owner of Bound to Bloom Behavioral Institute. I was thoroughly impressed by how comfortably she interacted with her students - some of them non-verbal - in such a kind and genuinely loving manner. She is able to naturally connect with each student on their own terms, and it's evident that working with young people on the autism spectrum is her true calling. It warms my heart that a broader group of our community has an opportunity to reach their highest potential through the programs being offered at Bound to Bloom. It's true there are alternatives available for families looking for behavioral support, but I doubt those providers have the genuine caring that is part and parcel of every session offered at Bound to Bloom.
