Brain and Body Integration

The testing was very complete.

I did not like this place I did not appreciate it they know about me . I have a TBI I have been disabled since 1995 and they told me that all the sudden I'm not disabled. They are 100% wrong they made a note that I fell while I was walking in that is because I have no equilibrium and I have no balance and never have since my accident. ( Equilibrium was damaged in the accident)I needed a note about my brain injury for my work they could not provide that but yet they say their experts I ended up losing my job. They do not spend enough time with you to know you and your difficulties do not go there. I've had my TBI for over 20 years I have picked up habits and have learned to live with my disability as in skills that I had lost and that are damaged. The right side of my Brain still gets freezing inside because it's damaged.

Mixed thoughts on the place. They were accommodating enough, because I heard they take about a year to get in there. . I received a prompt call back because of a cancelation. I went in to help my appeal for disability . The lady who conducted the evaluation wasn't able to diagnose.... yet made a recommendation of inpatient rehab. That's medically conflicting . .. and furthermore As the " doctor" or whoever she was....was asking me about head injuries,trauma ect. She says she knows me....she knew DETAILS REGARDING MY TRAUMA.... She later said she read about the case and felt sorry for me...but she COULDNT HAVE KNOWN DETAILS FROM MY CASE from reading. . Because The details you knew were never made public. To my knowledge, they are only in the discovery from my case... And it is beyond me how she had that information.... That being said..... I'm probably certain seeing her only hurt my case for disability... Also, Towards the end when she was asking me about my trauma stuff.... I never. Did get a chance to answer her.She got very upset speaking about my case.... And she didn't really care to hear what I had to say. In fact, she emailed out to somebody asking if she could. Please stop the evaluation due to the fact. I didn't have 30 days sober... And in my opinion, It definitely. Moreover, would reason would have been the fact there was a major conflict of interest with her bringing up stuff. She shouldn't even know about. I have the way she was treating me to be honest.... It was like she already had a very negative predetermined opinion... I tried to reach out to the actual company.And they told me the director would call back and then she called me back.The Doctor herself and was very confrontational about the fact that I tried to even tell on her that I was unhappy about it.Or that there was a conflict of interest.. I do not feel honestly like I had a fair shot at an evaluation, to be honest... And i'm sure had she explained it to whoever told her to complete the evaluation, The situation would have been very different.. But she's probably gonna hold up my disability paperwork.Now of course.And that's just hundreds of more days of suffering on my end. Unfortunately.

The Doctor I saw was very thorough with her questions and follow-up. She helped me feel at ease during our session and made sure I had what I needed to be comfortable. The process was relatively quick and easy to understand. I would recommend Brain and Body to anyone seeking answers.

Incredible company all around! Super professional, patient, understanding and, helpful in so many ways. In addition, I was able to be approved for services with the Division of Vocational Rehab after submitting a copy to a counselor there. I greatly appreciate the opportunity to take part in this specific sort of evaluation. Well worth the time. I highly recommend it. Very insightful. Good time when something like this is available and, for the public. It was covered through Medicaid. Nice staff. Calm and, clean office. It was easy to find. It is near a bus route, too.

They were very professional and kind. They were also right on time starting the appointment. The person doing the evaluations / assessments was knowledgeable, courteous, and built a great rapport with my child right off the bat. They report was provided quickly. It was thorough and they were able to explain everything well.
