Brain Balance Center of Cary

I am SO happy we went through the brain balance program with my daughter (6yo). We initially considered it because she had a really tough time regulating her emotions and we noticed a lot of difficulty with focus and spatial/body awareness. I was a little pessimistic at the beginning thinking it could just be a marketing gimmick but after the assessment, it was clear they understood what was going on and we developed a thoughtful, measurable plan. We not only saw her growth on paper (monthly assessments), but we could tell when she made developmental leaps before we even saw the data. The ONLY drawback was cost - it sounds like they are making strides to be covered by insurance but in the end it was worth it to build our daughter’s confidence and see her grow! I really do hope this becomes more accessible- we believe in the program!

We love The Brain Balance Center in Cary. Our 13 year old daughter is currently in the program and we are almost finished with our time here. Everyone has been great from the director to the coaches. We’ve seen significant improvement and progress in our daughter. She is on the spectrum and this program has greatly benefited her. We love it.

We’ve been with Brain Balance for just one month, and we’re already seeing tangible, positive results with our daughter. The changes feel meaningful and encouraging, not subtle or wishful. Lauren has been absolutely great to work with—knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely invested in our child’s progress. Brain Balance works! My daughter just completed her final session and she now has the skills to cope with all the outside stimulation around her. The staff is wonderful as well. They really knew how to push her on the tough days and get the most out of her without overdoing it. Brain Balance really moved my daughter forward!

When asked what exactly they do I wasn’t given much of an answer. When asked how much it would cost I wasn’t given an answer. I had to ask probing questions only to find out that 6 months worth of services would cost me just under $14,000! I was in shock. I could understand a couple grand but 14000$ for 6 months and no guarantee that it would work just seems outrageous. All the “sympathy” and “kindness” is just a sales opportunity for them. They should be ashamed preying on desperate families.

Awesome staffs and life-changing program. It is a little pricy and may not work for every case, but it did help my kid in a great deal during a short period of time (~6 months).
