We love the Center! I can not say enough about the Center. They have loved on and cared from my son from the very beginning , Jan 2023. He was one of the first children to attend the Center after they opened. He is thriving and is excited to go to therapy everyday. We drive a hour one way to take him to this center because they are that attentive and supportive of the needs of a child on the spectrum and their families. They have a beautiful culture amongst the staff and make sure that any new staff fit wonderfully into that culture. They have also made it easy for our blended family and co-parent to receive communication and have smooth transitions while keeping information safe, confidential and documented. They also get to know your child well enough to buy new toys all the time that they love. We are spoiled at CANS 🤣. The way Katie & Scott, the owners, have cultivated such a passionate, inclusive, fun, safe and loving environment has renewed my faith and hope in humanity and makes me feel seen and heard 🥹. I am not a very easily trusting person but I trust them and their staff with my nonverbal son. Thank you Katie , Scott, Michael and Elizabeth and all the BT’s for making the center a second home for my beloved son. We love y’all🥰

I had the privilege of witnessing The Center for Autism North Shore in action while at the park with my daughter, and I was absolutely blown away by the level of care, support, and empowerment their staff provided to the kids. As an autistic parent raising an autistic child, it truly moved me to see such genuine understanding. The staff was not only incredibly patient and attentive but also deeply encouraging, helping each child feel capable, valued, and included. It was clear that they foster a space where autistic children can thrive, be themselves, and feel supported in a way that respects their unique strengths and needs. Even though we aren’t clients, I felt compelled to share how impactful it was to witness their work. Seeing that level of compassionate and knowledgeable support gave me so much hope. If you’re looking for a place that truly understands and uplifts autistic individuals, I can only imagine the amazing experience they provide.

CANS has quite literally changed my son’s world for the better. When I first came to learn about CANS, I was lost as a parent not knowing where to turn or who would truly understand what my child needed. I think meeting the team at this center was one of the best decisions I have made as a parent. They welcomed us with open arms, made us feel heard and seen. The staff there are so professional, kind, flexible, and supportive. The behavior techs and analysts are incredibly friendly and thoughtful about my son’s development and care. I honestly feel like they are family to us now after a little over six months. Whenever my son walks in, they welcome him enthusiastically. I am so grateful to them. The center layout is carefully designed to meet the needs of individual children and groups. They are always offering collaborative opportunities for caregiver trainings which make parents a part of the process of setting goals, checking on progress, etc. Katie and Mike are some of the most genuine and caring people I know. They have been extremely flexible with me as a single mom- working with my son’s schedule between their center and the local school district as well as partnership with the team there to optimize support for my son. I literally am in tears with so much gratitude for what CANS has done for us. My son has grown so much with language, cognitive, social and self help skills since being at CANS. He is excelling in so many areas and I have them to thank. He looks forward to being with them and talks about them all the time which makes me feel good about bringing him there. He loves all of the staff there and they truly care for him. I will ALWAYS recommend CANS to those who are trying to figure out how to best support children on the spectrum of autism. Thank you cannot express my appreciation enough!

The center has hired an incredible team that treats kids with care and respect. I had a great experience here and would recommend their services to anyone. The therapist we worked with was kind, patient and knowledgeable, and my child felt comfortable from the first time we toured. Thanks CANS!

The Owner Katie is so nice and caring. She has been in the industry for over a decade working for larger companies and she decided to open up her own center. They treat kids with so much care, not just a number. Excellent service and excellent people!!
