I’ve been seeing Dr. Montes for nearly 3 years now and I truly believe she helped save my life. I have multiple chronic illnesses both mental and physical and because of Dr. Montes, I’ve finally been accurately diagnosed with disorder’s like Autism, ADHD, and PTSD after years of struggling and not knowing why. I felt so isolated and confused. I had no idea why my brain worked the way it did and now I finally understand why. I’ve never felt more heard, seen, validated, and safe with any other health care provider than I do with her. As a military spouse, I was incredibly anxious, nervous, and scared when we moved back to the states because I had to find new healthcare providers. I tried therapy in the past and other therapists just weren’t the right fit for me. Having to go through the process of finding a new therapist was hard. I’m incredibly lucky that I was matched with Dr. Montes. Our first session was scary for me and she was so kind, patient, and never pushed me. We met virtually once weekly and continue to do so to this day. Telehealth for therapy sessions has been great for me personally. After about 2 years of therapy together, she suspected that I had undiagnosed ADHD & Autism and she set up a day to evaluate me. The evaluations were in person and quite long and tedious, but Dr. Montes made the experience really wonderful. As a disabled individual, I utilize the use of a service dog which can be stressful at times, especially when going to new places and meeting new providers. Dr. Montes had pretty basic knowledge on service animals and how they differ from therapy dogs and ESA’s and she is incredibly supportive of my need for one. She is always happy to learn more about them and anytime I need to go in person to her office, she and all of her staff are amazing, kind, helpful, and do an amazing job of ignoring my service dog. We are getting ready to move to the west coast and I am so happy that I can continue to do my weekly virtual sessions with Dr. Montes while living in a different state. I went from being so scared and anxious to begin therapy, to now looking forward to our weekly sessions. I owe so much to Dr. Montes and no words feel grand enough to express my gratitude to her.
I love Dr. Jones! She has been so helpful and insightful. Office staff have always been friendly as well.
