Blair has been a part of our family’s life for the past 3 years and we could not be more thankful to have her in our corner. She truly makes each of us feel cared about, heard, and a little less crazy! Not only do I love that our boys have someone other than Mom or Dad that they can talk freely to and process things with (someone whose commentary I trust to be sound, I should add), but her feedback, perspective, and the parent training she essentially provides for my husband and I, has been invaluable when managing our kids’ ADHD, Autism, and Anxiety! Are things perfect in our family now? Of course not, but when hard situations arise we all have a much larger arsenal of tools and resources to draw upon than we did before- as well as a greater sense of understanding as to why certain difficulties may arise and, because of that, a deeper empathy for each other when they do. Also a big shout out to Kimberlin who is a boss at scheduling, sending well timed reminder emails, and has made the insurance and billing process completely pain free! Early Childhood Wellness Place is lucky to have an office manager who keep things running so smoothly!

My family has had such a wonderful experience with Blair and Early Childhood Wellness over the past four years. Blair has been an incredible support for my son and for me as his parent. From the very beginning, she created a safe, welcoming space where my son feels comfortable and understood. She has a natural ability to connect, encourage, and guide, and her patience, kindness, and expertise have made such a meaningful difference in his confidence and well-being. What I appreciate most is that Blair not only supports my son but also gives me the tools and reassurance I need to navigate challenges and celebrate progress. She listens with compassion, offers thoughtful strategies, and always meets us where we are. The growth and progress we’ve seen with her help has been truly remarkable, and I feel so grateful to have her as part of our journey. Early Childhood Wellness as a whole has also been a wonderful place. The environment is warm and inviting, and it’s clear that the entire team genuinely cares about the children and families they serve. From communication to scheduling, everything has always been handled with care and professionalism, which makes the experience even smoother. After many years of working with Blair and being part of Early Childhood Wellness, I can confidently say they are invested in helping children and families thrive. I couldn’t recommend them more highly.

I have sent many of my client's to Blair for help with their children and she does a fantastic job. She is child focused and always puts her patient first, regardless of the situation. She is kind, forthright, effective and smart. I highly recommend Blair Skinner!

Blair worked with my child for several years and was amazing. She was able to connect with my son and support him in so many different ways. As a parent, she was so supportive and provided me with tools that I needed. Her office is so friendly, welcoming, and kid friendly. Her therapy pup is precious and the art work created by children in the office give it such a special touch. I can not say enough about Blair and the staff at Early Childhood Wellness Center. Blair's love for children and her job shine through in all that she does. What a warm, safe, and loving environment for both kids and parents. 5 stars!🌟

My child saw Blair Skinner for several months. Blair confuses equality for equity. Her office policies are classist, and the office art is racist. She shames both children and parents, and she disagreed with a medical recommendation made by both my child’s primary care physician and GI specialist. Blair’s obesity and visible anxiety, for which she surely has an excuse despite her lack of empathy for the shortcomings of patient parents, is negative role modeling for children. She needs to take a family systems and strengths-based approach. That said, Blair is one of the few local providers who accepts Medicaid, so many of us are stuck with her. I’ve had many conversations in the waiting room with parents who are dissatisfied with the services provided, particularly with regard to equity. Blair is a business person first and therapist second.
