Hands On Rehab and Aquatics Inc.

I was prescribed physical therapy in a pool that I very grateful for. I need to trace 30 miles and over an hour each to attend sessions due to the fact there there aren’t any facilities near my home. Suzanne has always been exceedingly kind towards me and my situation. I noticed the other staff are also caring. I recommend this facility because I am getting better. it’s because they really know their stuff. I tried 2 different pools and I really like the Big Blue the best because it’s cleaner and there are aren’t any screaming kids. Thanks for your excellent service.

I’m incredibly grateful to the team at Hands On Rehab and Aquatics Inc. for helping me recover from a left arm injury. After just a few sessions of physical therapy, I noticed significant improvement — the pain subsided, mobility returned, and I can now fully use my arm again. I loved this place, Susan and most of the staff are beyond fantastic. Until today, I received an email informing me that I owe them $170. I contacted the office and spoke to the office manager who informed me that I had a copayment for each session that I didn’t pay. I asked her how long was I going to the facility and the answer is more than four months. I informed the manager that it’s their duty to bill me each time as other PT places and this was their responsibility. I also, informed her that I’ll need payment plans and a confirmation in writing so they don’t mess my credit, and she agreed. She added, “Why are you upset, I’m trying to help you here and that was the medical insurance policy.” I corrected her that was not her trying to help me as much as it’s their failure to bill me accordingly. I recommend that place for the therapists and the staff but I will not go again because of this error.

Excellent Physical Therapist

Hi, my name is Julia, I wear pink and I come in the motor scooter. I was bedridden for almost 3 years and the aquatic therapy at the Huntington Beach location was a huge part of my recovery. I went from barely being able to tolerate a whole hour in the pool and being one on one to graduating as of yesterday, almost a year after starting, to a group setting. God blessed me by getting me here and I’m not sure my insurance will cover it anymore due to a new neurological diagnosis, but I highly recommend this place. Everyone here is so kind, and I want to personally thank Corinne, Lisa, Quinn, and Stephanie for my time here. You all were SO kind to me and I had so much fun here. Melissa does a great job with the insurance and the front desk is so friendly. I wish you all the best, may God bless you all.

Dr Melanie’s mastery of human anatomy, deep listening skills, and drill sergeant discipline, softened by snarky quips, coupled with my willingness to put in the work, went well beyond above what the orthopedic ordered and dramatically exceeded my expectations for combating chronic lower back pain. As long as you put in the work, you’re in great hands with the “Hands On Rehab and Aquatic” team.
