I must admit, I had some concerns, my child's doctor suggested we use this center. I trust his advice, he's been their doctor since the age of 2&4 yrs old.The insurance would not cover it, so he downgraded to the next. I've learned to trust him. I had been taking my baby to various treatment centers, for 8yrs nobody's either saw what Dr. Jackie saw and acted 8yrs later. I read reviews, had to start, to know what I may be getting myself into. So those of you like me. The reviews took me back not just one step but 5, 10, heck 20.One thing I refused to do was not trust, their doctor. Im so very glad I did. From day one, we walked into an extremely clean, warm atmosphere. The front desk very warm, smile and welcoming. We received that very same treatment throughout the remaining staff, then our speech doctor, OMG, every kid should have her. The our 3rd appointment didn't fail, each therapist, doctor & specialist was even better. Thank you Inland, you helped lift years of stress and frustration.. Baby don't know Im telling you this, but for each zoom I didn't have to even threaten to take her phone, she began to prepare

Please do NOT go here. We went in for my son to get evaluated, I already have children that have autism so I knew what to expect but this place was a new place for me and my insurance already put the refferal so i had to come here. This place by far was the worst place ive ever been in and they are so unprofessional and rude. You claim you are licensed professional therapists but what kind of therapist says that your baby needs to be around normal children and that your baby needs to stop copying what your other autism kids that you have in your home are already doing and that she cant give a diagnosis based off of that? THAT is ridiculous and so wrong. What kind of therapist are you? And I waited 4 hours just for her to tell me that my son is copying my other kids that have autism that's why hes doing what hes doing and I need to bring him around regular kids. That is disgusting. And I tried calling them to complain and they say they will have the manager reach out to me to talk about it but they never call you back. Please dont waste your time coming here and if your insurance and doctor sends you there I suggest finding another place unless if you want to be insulted by therapist.

I would suggest not to use this place for the diagnosis of your child. It was a long drawn out test day and they claimed to care about my child but their actions did not show that. They stated they were very concerned and it was with something I wasn't even there for and they obviously were not trained about. They told me they would send me the preliminary report 1 week from meeting and I called every week to ask about the report with no response. About the 5th week, I complained and they said they had 6 weeks by law to give me the report. I reminded them they promised the preliminary report in 1 week and they were delaying help for my child. They ended up sending me the preliminary but as of 8 weeks later, I still do not have the final report and no return calls. I also found out that they diagnosed my child with something that requires history and blood testing which they did not have. This is what they were so concerned about, but not concerned enough to return my calls and get me the paperwork and referrals they claimed I needed. There was a group of health professionals who meet to decide the diagnosis and for this to be done and agreed by all of them, in my opinion is very unprofessional and very negligent. I am very disappointed with this company/office and would never return. I hope this is not something that happens often. Parents go to these places for help and trust that they will do their best to help them.

Receptionist is brilliant she went above and beyond to help me find a referral to another agency when my insurance did not cover services for my autism evaluation in this location. She even sat down with me and called my provider to advocate for me. She even wrote down information to help me navigate this process in post it notes. As a low income first gen student with no parental support this has been incredibly helpful and she helped me make the appointment with my provider in another agency when I couldn't make one here. She deserves a raise and a promotion. She is the example of what it means to be a leader in the workforce.

Our insurance told us we needed to have our son assessed here before they would pay for ABA therapy despite having been diagnosed three times over and multiple relevant professionals saying he needs it. So we brought him for the assessments here and they tried to tell us he's never had autism and they won't recommend him for ABA. When explaining how they came to that conclusion they only spoke of behaviors that are typically found in more severe (lower functioning) cases. Even changed their stories a bit on their findings after we pushed back. Very clear this place is influenced by the insurance companies. STAY AWAY!!!! *Reply* Every other industry professional he's seen have all agreed that between the ages of 3 and 5 BEFORE medication and therapy is the best time to diagnose autism. Every piece of educational literature i can find on the subject supports the same. He was not misdiagnosed before. He's even just had yet another (quite a bit more in depth) evaluation done and guess what??? Meets criteria for ASD. You and your staff know what you did. You denied a struggling child treatment that he desperately needs according to professionals with a lot more credentials and overall credibility than you. I don't know how you sleep at night but it can't be good.

This place is calle the autism center of excellence. More like the autism center of excuses. My son has been waiting over a year for his second assessment appointment. Received multiple texts and phone calla confirming the appointment. I tool unpaid time off of work to make this appointment. We were able to check in the day of the appointment through their website before we left our house. We arrived for his appointment and its all of a sudden canceled. Supposedly they tried to call my wife multiple times to reschedule. Said her voicemail was full. Which are both lies. How are these people supposed to help our children when they cant even manage a schedule properly. Now i will be forced to miss two days of work unpaid thanks to them.

The team did an amazing job with my son. Their process does take a while, but they are covering every aspect of your child's development, & no stones are left unturned. I feel more at ease now because all of my concerns for my child have been properly addressed. Thank You:)

(Originally edited my post over a year ago, to respond. Originally posted very long ago, a few years before covid, just for the record- today received a Google poplarity notice that caused me to notice that the Autism Center deleted their rebuttal of my review, after I had edited it to state that I stood by my initial review. Interesting.) Tried an eval, took months to receive their evaluation, which was not even an official diagnosis. Was told a follow up for official diagnosis could be 8 months away. No waitlist, just wait for a call they said. Double check at 6 & 7 months, to see if an appointment could be made yet. Was told they were full and they'd call. Called at about 8.5 months and were told it'd be 4 more months. Got a letter a few weeks later saying they couldn't reach us and referral no longer valid. Same phone number we've always had. They never called. Called insurance, who did another referral to them (despite us requesting someone else). Yet again, another letter saying they couldn't reach us. Liars and cheats. Zero help. Go somewhere else. I'm a polite person, with a child that needs assistance. My child doesn't deserve to be ran around like this. This center is the perfect example of what parents and children with autism experience, that causes such turmoil and setbacks. Edited below, after Center's response to my initial review: Health insurance had correct information, as did record on file. Voicemail wasn't full and there were zero missed calls/attempts. Confirmed number over the phone multiple times with insurance and the office. Waiting for further child development and intervention results were not applicable here. I stand by my review.
