Review for Cory – Speech Therapist Cory was one of the best therapists Andrea ever had. She worked with Andrea the longest, and the bond they built was truly special. Andrea has severe autism and ADHD, and not everyone understands how much patience and skill it takes to work with her—but Cory did. She always came prepared, stayed calm, and found ways to reach Andrea, even on the hardest days. It takes a strong and creative therapist to meet a child where they are, and Cory did that every single session. As parents who are very involved and admittedly picky, we always felt Andrea was in good hands with her. Cory helped Andrea grow so much—speech, attention, confidence—and we saw real changes. We were honestly heartbroken when she left, because therapists like her are rare. She didn’t just show up—she cared. We’re so grateful for everything she did for our family. If you’re looking for someone who will go the extra mile and truly care, Cory is that person.

We meet with the Child Developmental therapist Lindsey today. She came into my home wore her sunglasses glasses the entire time, had slip on sandals on, walked around outside and inside with a clip board. Attempted to connect with myself and my child but ultimately failed because she had zero empathy and zero listening skills. I explained to her that her methodical approach to therapy was not going to work for myself or my family and that I have a learning disability. She did not do her best to accommodate my disability while providing parent coaching at the end of our session. She argued with me instead. Very unprofessional. And this is not our first rodeo, I have another older child with autism and have worked with Easter Seals child development specialist in the past. She kept on saying “You” statements to prove a point and she even told me I needed to write down what she was telling me during our session. ** what made me most dissatisfied with Lindsey was that she tried to empathize with us and said her son had a sensory disorder. She proceeded to tell me that she “caught it early with her son and was able to avoid an ASD diagnosis”. What? Huh? No. She may have a masters degree but there is no way she knows what the guidelines are for ASD as she is not an MD. She rubbed me the wrong way entirely. We asked her not to come back. We pray this company will make it right for our son.

My son has been going to Jabbergym for two years now and I highly recommend them. He's received OT, PT and Speech therapy. Everyone at this facilty has been incredibly kind and supportive.

The facility is very well-apportioned and quite large inside, certainly larger than it looks from the outside. The therapists are energetic and helpful, with plenty of experience with a wide variety of speech and sensory issues. I would definitely recommend the facility and the therapists to anyone looking for OT or other sensory integration related therapies for their child.

I took my daughter to Jabbergym when she was two. She was lisping and having trouble saying certain letter sounds. The therapists helped her with those issues in a fun, game-like manner and with practice speech issues disappeared. Highest regards to the team at Jabbergym.
