I called because I wanted to get an autism screening and this receptionist named Jasmine picked up the phone and was incredibly rude to me once I explained that I, a 21-year-old woman was looking for an autism screening. In fact, did not know that this was a place for children to get autism screening. I was excited to find a place that had no wait lists. She answered in an unprofessional and unempathic tone of voice saying “Okay, we only do screenings for children between the ages of 4 and 6. Not adults.” I just wanted to help and before she could finish her sentence I said “okay, bye-bye” on the verge of tears, because how rude do you have to be to someone looking for help? I’m highly sensitive to tone of voice, regardless of who’s calling, the receptionist should answer in a polite, constructive suggestion instead of a blunt statement delivered with an unempathetic tone of voice.

Everyone at Little Leaves has been a pleasure to work with. They are very focused on providing the best environment for kids that need their services and help. Our son smiles from ear to ear when we are getting him dressed for school and he knows that its soon time to go to Little Leaves. He has specific ways that he shows others that he trusts them. It didn't take long at all for him to do those things with all of the people at Little Leaves. I know that they care very much for the kids there and work hard to help kids like my son grow into their best self.

Every single staff member — from the behavior technicians to the analysts and specialists — has been nothing short of incredible. They are knowledgeable, warm, patient, and remarkably consistent in the care and attention they give to our son. One of the things we appreciate most is how much they communicate with us. I’m never left wondering how Archer is doing or what he’s working on — they regularly share updates, and it’s clear they’re not just working with him, but partnering with us as parents. The parent trainings they offer are especially valuable — they walk us through the strategies they’re using, explain the reasoning behind them, and empower us to support his learning and progress at home. Their creativity and innovation in supporting Archer’s individual needs is amazing to witness. They find such thoughtful, personalized ways to help him succeed and constantly adapt their approaches to best support him. The results have been nothing short of life-changing. In just a few months, Archer is using language functionally — he can now tell us exactly what he wants and needs, which has led to far fewer meltdowns and much more ease in daily life. He’s so much more engaged with both peers and adults, and genuinely enjoys being around others. Watching him initiate social interactions and light up in those moments has brought us so much joy. Even better? Archer loves going. He’s always so excited to attend Little Leaves Ashburn, and often doesn’t want to leave when it’s time to go! That level of comfort and happiness in a therapeutic setting is something we don’t take for granted. They also pay close attention to the environment — refreshing toys and materials regularly to keep things clean, engaging, and fun. The space is structured yet welcoming, and it’s clear that every detail is designed with the kids in mind. Our family has been deeply blessed by the incredible impact Little Leaves Ashburn has had on our lives. Choosing this program has been one of the best decisions we’ve ever made. We are endlessly grateful for this team and the work they do — it has truly transformed our son’s path and brought so much hope to our family.

Little Leaves is one of the best center based practice within the area. Everyone at the center is great the office staff, therapists, Behavior specialists etc. We have been with little leaves for couple of years now and I never had any complaints. I will highly recommend them!

From the moment my child enrolled, we have been met with a level of professionalism, care, and dedication that surpasses all expectations. The school's commitment to excellence is evident in every aspect of their program. 99% of the teachers and support staff are not only highly knowledgeable and experienced in working with children on the spectrum, but they also demonstrate genuine compassion and understanding, and I say 99% because we have had an incident that they have corrected, but that, can't take from the benefits the school provides to this kids. The school constantly challenges its students, creating an environment that encourages growth and achievement. It is truly remarkable to witness the progress my child has made since attending Little Leave. What truly distinguishes Little Leaves is the unwavering commitment of the staff to each student's well-being and development. Their dedication goes beyond the classroom, as they work tirelessly to create a supportive and inclusive community for both students and parents. The open lines of communication, daily updates, and collaborative approach foster a strong partnership between the school and families, ensuring that everyone is working together towards the same goal. I cannot express enough how grateful I am for the impact Little Leave has had on my child's life and our family as a whole.
