The most accommodating, understanding, and compassionate group I have ever personally witnessed. Not once have I ever felt judged or shamed by the staff here. As a parent of a neurodivergent child, often when you go into any medical or therapeutic establishment there is a cast of judgement where the parent lacks before a true assessment of the issue, if that assessment even occurs. I have never felt that from Live Oak Children's Therapy. I have only felt love and encouragement, for my child and honestly myself. In fact, during my child's assessment a bulletin board came down and his hands were flying and the person doing the assement stayed calm and got through it, compassionately. Miss Jaime, our weekly speech therapist, truly understands what it takes to help a child to begin speaking clearly and helps the child build their vocabulary by getting on their level and speaking to what moves them.
Live Oak Children's Therapy has been instrumental in both of my children's successes. My children have received both Speech and Occupational Therapy from Live Oak. My kids have always loved their therapists and gained skills that they otherwise would not have. My daughter had severe sensory issues and food aversions that would have never been overcome without the Occupational Therapy she received at Live Oak. My son's communication grew leaps and bounds through the Speech Therapy he received there. I am truly grateful for Linda and the wonderful and much needed Pediatric Therapy Center she has created in Savannah!
Linda the business owner is unprofessional and she is a liar. She cannot keep employees for very long especially for Occupational Therapists. I have seen little to no improvements in my child’s progression and she has been going to the business long enough that there should be signs of improvement. The Speech Therapist skills are behind as far as age appropriate things. Speech Therapy is teaching things that are a school grade level below my child’s current school grade level. Meaning my child has not been learning any new skills. Linda does not care about her patients and she uses her kids as lies/excuses on why she cannot provide the services to patients. Linda has poor communication skills and the business lobby could use a deep carpet clean and new furniture. Doesn’t feel clean. Debbie the receptionist is also rude. We have a referral for elsewhere and have suggested to our provider that this business be blacklisted. All parents have a right to know this information about this business. My child has not received Occupational Therapy for over a few months now. Linda doesn’t care and it seems she prefers patients to take their business elsewhere. I really wanted to give this business zero stars but that is not an option.
My son speech therapist Jamie is amazing. I have seen progress in my son and taught us what we can do with him at home. Recommend 10/10
Just started my son here and so far the admins at the front desk have been respectful and welcoming. The ST we see is great. Clean and nice environment. Everyone seems to be friendly and professional. Only suggestion would be to add a little more diversity in the photos in the lobby.
