Highly recommend MindColor autism for their consistency, client-led compassion based ABA therapy. My children were very excited to be there and go everyday, and MindColor has made an exceptional difference in their lives.
Mindcolor has created such a welcoming and supportive space for ABA therapy. The staff are kind, approachable, and truly invested in helping kids grow. I’ve been impressed with how well they work together and how willing they are to collaborate with families and other providers to make sure each child is supported. They keep caregivers involved with regular communication and training, which makes a big difference. The leadership and BCBAs are also very present and engaged, which shows in the quality of care. I highly recommend this center to families looking for strong ABA services in the community.
We learned about MindColor Autism and did some research. We have been thrilled so far with the professionalism, prompt responses, and the overall care they show for their families! We look forward to what the future holds for our Grandson with the great Team they have and the facilities.
Very disappointed with how my great grandson was dismissed from therapy here after two years. Communication is lacking and follow through is non existent. They consistently have staffing issues and communicate last minute he can attend for the day, the afternoon or not at all. So much more I can say however the one thing I can say is STAY AWAY from this company unless you want to be treated with disrespect as well as your child.
Stay away. Unprofessional, lack of communication. Had a meeting discussing my sons care earlier in the week, and no mention was made of discontinuing or possible suspension of his care until 5 minutes after his session was supposed to take place. Kate has shown me no regard for the care of my child. The actions that have taken place are toeing the line of client abandonment. They have continued staffing problems, which from my experience is a leadership issue. These staffing problems, often with last minute notice, have caused issues with our employers and ability to provide. Mindcolor was better before Kate and should take a serious look into this matter. To reiterate, our sons care was suspended abruptly, with zero notice, despite having a meeting earlier in the week discussing his progression and care. We received a text at 7:20 AM stating due to staffing he wouldn't be able to attend until 10:45AM, then at 10:40AM we received a phone call stating his services are suspended. This place is unprofessional, and HIGHLY recommend going elsewhere. Literally anywhere. Not to mention they hire RBTs that don't keep up with general hygiene.
I don’t usually write reviews but if I could scream from the rooftops to try and express how amazing they are I would . I’m typically anxious about leaving my daughter with anyone but from day one they made me feel like she was in a safe place. Every day she is excited to go! She loves everyone on her team and I truly feel like they love her just as much. Even people we don’t work with directly know her and are always so sweet to her and she feels comfortable with them as well. They have helped her find her voice and work every day to teach her how to advocate for herself. They focus on what is best for her and what works best for her. They always take our opinions and wants as the parents and work those into everything they do. They are amazing and there are no words to express how truly appreciative I am for everything they’ve done for us.
I heavily recommend the services provided at this center. There are a lot of ABA centers in Colorado Springs that offer in-clinic services, and here are several reasons why this Mindcolor is my favorite: 1. Flexible schedule - Your kids can come at times that work for you. If you have one car for your family and multiple kiddos who need services - Have no fear! They are very ethical and willing to accomodate. 2. Compassionate Care - Nobody here is forcing your children into completing aversive tasks for just compliance. There is a focus on creating trust and reinforcing positive outcomes. 3. Trustworthy Staff - Staff here will give end of day reports to go over all of the important details, so even if you have to rush during pick-up, you'll have all the info you need like eating, diaper changes, and any issues with safety and care.
This place is great and has a much more relaxed feel than many of big centers. Great location and center really cares about the children.
Mind Color lied about immediate Oppenings and had our family waiting and in need of service after PCS’ing in a new area. Then took 3 weeks to inform us that my child cannot be seen because I am military and wont be able to do parent meeting because I have traing and need both parents and because I didnt kno my child previous ABA name in another state. Mind color was slow and inconsiderate about getting back to parents with Autism needs.
My family and I love Mindcolor! My kiddo loved coming here and was the first place I could leave him without a tantrum or a meltdown. There were some times that services were a little wonky with cancelations, and the chaos that was covid, but overall they really care and try to make things right. Jessica has been the best BCBA I’ve come across. She made my family feel heard and supported. I loved my sons RBT’s and I could see from his interactions with them that he did too. When our family was deciding our move to our home town, we considered staying, so that our kiddo can stay in this center. Tears were shed when we ultimately decided to move but we liked the company so much that we decided to stay with the company in our home state. I don’t know what I would’ve done without this place. As someone who also works in this field, who has seen how bad ABA can look like through various other ABA companies, I felt that I could fully put my trust in this company!
