Our baby had extreme bottle refusal but after a couple of months of working with Drea, she now takes bottles like a pro! Drea is a mom herself and has a very warm and loving approach. Our baby loved seeing Drea every week. She was so patient with our baby and taught us the importance of following our baby’s cues and learning to meet our baby where she is. Our baby is EBF and I had so much fear and anxiety about returning to work and not knowing if/how our baby will eat, but Drea was always there to provide reassurance and guidance, checking in with us every week. I learned to just trust my baby and follow Drea’s process. I never thought this day would come but our baby now takes (and enjoys) bottles all thanks to Drea’s help! I’m so proud of our baby and immensely grateful for Drea’s expertise in helping our family reach this big milestone. We just “graduated” which is exciting but we’re sad to leave Drea because she’s been a god send!
Place consistently cancels my son's sessions atleast 2 times a week, (what if the parent is at work, no consideration) the receptionist is rude old lady with white hair. You say hi goodmorning she never acknowledges you. You ask for certain things to be done and they never do it. Like a sheet with what your teaching my kid so I can incorporate it at home. My son's been going there for almost 2 years and all I can say he learned from there is how to signal he wants "more" you would think after almost 2 years he'd learn more from them. Apparently not. Will be looking for alternative therapy for him somewhere else.
Excellent experience with Stephanie Barkan. She prepared a comprehensive PT report for my infant daughter and correctly flagged issues that needed further attention. We felt well cared for and prepared for next steps
North Shore Pediatric Therapy at the Bucktown location provides the best therapy services for kiddos. I've been at this location since 2018 with my 3 neurodivergent kiddos and I am impressed with the team of therapists (ABA, Speech, OT, PT) that have big hearts and build wonderful relationships with the kiddos. The family-child advocate, Arielle Small, is knowledgeable, kind, and always greets you with a smile. I love how they encourage family involvement, and I have monthly meetings with Maria Dominguez, the BCBA who is incredibly professional and trustworthy. I appreciate all the support I've received from NSPT throughout the years, and I am happy with all of the progress my kiddos continue to make at NSPT. I would highly recommend North Shore Pediatric Therapy.
The team was not transparent on billing charges and billed us for way more hours that just a simple visit and evaluation. In addition we received another bill for a 5 minute virtual call telling us that they wouldn’t provide services to our son. Overall. This company practices shady procedures to bill insurance companies to benefit their pockets and not the kids that need the services. I was wrong by even visiting the place.
I highly recommend North Shore Pediatric Therapy. My daughter is 2.5 years old and during our first visit she was throwing a major temper tantrum. Our therapist was very patient and kind and we made it through. At our second appointment my daughter was so very happy to see her therapist and left me in the waiting room without hesitation! While observing other families in the waiting area it’s clear to see how all of the therapists are very warm and patient with the children. I am very happy we found a nice place where both my daughter and I feel comfortable (maybe even excited) going.
