Ugly, nasty environment for kiddos in the inner rooms that parents don't see. Michelle interviewed me on Thursday, and it went awful. The tour was pitiful and filled with rooms that aren't up to regulation. It felt like a jail once you pass the lobby. There wasn't much diversity there, and I didn't feel welcomed as an RBT. I told her that I had a major flood in my apartment that broke my ceiling, and she acted like she didn't even care. She said that I needed to speak more about myself and not the past company, but I spoke about myself and what my past experience taught me from various companies. When Kennedy told me in my first interview that I could get up to around 29 hours per week of work, Michelle disagreed and said that it would be 15, which was generous. They had me shadow for 5 minutes, which was a waste of time when I already knew and felt that I wasn't getting hired. I felt discriminated against by her, and more so, uncomfortable with the lack of cleanness of the environment. I won't say this isn't a good company, but this clinic is the worst I have ever seen. I tried being kind in my interview just from not running, and that's the truth. I wouldn't even let my dogs stay here for an hour. They need severe construction past the lobby and a more supportive leadership at the center. I do not recommend this center at all. The photos are lies.

I've put off writing this review for quite sometime but I think it's important for other parents or caregivers to know before sending their child here. My son started off his ABA journey in the Arlington Heights location and I have nothing but amazing things to say about Rebecca and her staff there! Transferring my son to the Des plaines location was a mistake. We personally felt that this location was not fully equipped to take care of special needs children. The location is so dark and gloomy. Their resolution to behaviors was always "social stories" which does not work for all kids. The building is a shared space with other offices. Meaning their bathrooms are also shared with the public. I one time saw a homeless man walking out of the bathroom where they keep all the diapers, wipes, specialized potties for the kids and I immediately felt uncomfortable with this and mentioned it to the receptionist. My child often expressed his dislike of this facility and the staff to our surprise he often said "I dont like this place or people" which was enough for us to remove him. He is now in a wonderful clinic and thriving. I would think twice and explore more options before sending your child here.

I am so thankful for BCBA Ms Callie and her team who have gone above and beyond for both my toddlers development and transition back into school. PreK teachers and family have noticed huge mental growth and less meltdowns. OT Ms Cassie noticed behaviors I failed to, created progress plans and completed reports/LOMN that supported our request for a Cubby Bed. Ms Callie guided and supported me as a new parent embarking into this terrifying confusing world of Autism/developmental delays/language processing disorders. Callie made learning less overwhelming and regularly checked in on me regarding my struggles, progress goals and included my feedback in learning plans. She empowered me to advocate and seek resources. My perspective on ABA therapy before was it being a financial drain however because of Ms Callie and NSPT DP this was a pivotal resource that helped our whole family thrive and continues to provide my little ones emotional/behavioral support and skills to function with peers in their age group.

We receive in home ABA therapy from North Shore and it has been an unbelievable smooth transaction with my son. The therapist are so kind and positive that energy is needed in a two hour session. Always on time, and keep you up to date on sessions and overall how things are going with your child's progress. Keep up the great work, very satisfied!

Our family has had an excellent experience with North Shore Pediatric Therapy. All of the staff that I've interacted with are remarkably caring, attentive, and professional. Dr. Kane conducted a thorough neuro-psychological evaluation on our seven year old daughter and provided our family with very insightful feedback. We are incredibly grateful for Dr. Kane's expertise and feel that she has been instrumental in helping our family understand and best support our daughter's holistic development. We look forward to our continued relationship with North Shore Pediatric Therapy and highly recommend this practice.

We have been through many different types of testing and different locations (Illinois Masonic, U of Chicago, DePaul) and North Shore Pediatric Therapy is on the same professional level as any of them. We chose North Shore to have our daughter's testing updated rather than returning to U of Chicago based on a professional recommendation (and that fact the commute for us to get to Hyde Park was long). Dr. Staci and is his staff were knowledgeable, professional and patient with our daughter. The testing process was difficult for her and they were amazing in providing the support and guidance needed for her to get through it. The evaluation (results) meeting was very in depth and explained to us in terms we could understand. They gladly welcoming questions (even when we interrupted them) and took the time to break things down that we didn't understand. They made thought out, professional recommendations and gave us all the necessarty insight as to why they were making them without pressuring us to do everything they recommend. We plan to follow-up on their recommendations and further her therapy at a location they suggested. The have assured us they will help support us throughout the process and I have no doubt that they will. If you have a child that may be in need of help and support, you will be very pleased if you decide to set up an appointment with North Shore Pediatric Therapy. Good Luck!
