Opal in Eagle ID is by far the best thing that has happened to my son! Thank you Opal for doing right by him each and every day. It is sad children may loose an opportunity to thrive in this world due to negative reviews reviewed by nobodies. PARENTS!!! Opal is a blessing for all in need. Your kiddio deserves it!!!

I have been receiving services for more than 1yr for 2 children in different levels of autism. I have not once had any issues of any kind with neither staffs or employees. I see the dedication they have for children in the spectrum and their passion in providing the correct tools. Opal is a God sent center, I have been educated and guided every month on how to help my children become successful. I can feel the love and the natural caring atmosphere every time I drop my children off. Despite the challenges my children display in general, the center, the staff and the program have handle things in the most professional and humane way possible while still aiding in correcting behaviors to be appropriate.

Since we no longer do ABA at TEACCH, I thought we could try this place. Glad I waited, I realized they care more about parking than other Autistic kids. We have two places by the house, so it's not a big deal but this shows the true colors of the business!

Rude phone employees. I was informed they will not see my child because intake paperwork was not completed in less than a week when waiting for doctors referred to be sent.

My non-verbal 3 yo started at the Fayetteville, NC location a few weeks ago and it has been such a wonderful experience for him. He has been in such a good mood every day. Within a week of starting at Opal he learned how to direct us to what he wants by pointing or grabbing our hand and pulling us to the item. In the mornings he wakes up and pulls me to the door, wanting to go to the center. Every person he is with has been amazing.

My son has had such a positive experience so far with Opal in Meridian. He asks me every day when he can “go school”. All of the RBT’s are so incredibly friendly and good with him. He gives endless hugs and smiles to me way more often than before we started because the RBT’s show that kind of love towards him. Kirsten has been exceptionally kind and helpful to us as we are learning how to help our son. She always keeps me up to date with what’s going on with him and how he’s doing. Couldn’t say better things about Opal!

Dr. Berry and her team are awesome when it comes to caring for their patients and the family as well. It started with the intake process. Gregory was awesome and very very on top of my paperwork and getting me scheduled with the provider for my daughter. There was no delay in care and scheduling at all. There was never lost in communication and he explained things to me very well and explained the process. This Opal Autism Center (Fayetteville) really does listen to all of your concerns. Dr. Berry was not dismissive of my concerns and problems regarding my child. She did not rush my appointment and she really was very observant of my child. Dr Berry was just a perfect example of what every provider should be especially when it comes to sensitive topics. She showed compassion and deep concern for my daughter and I really wish every provider could be like her. She educated me along the way during the appointment and then She followed up as she stated she would after the appointment and answered all of my questions even after. I reached out to Opal Autism Centers in hopes of getting support for my child. Unfortunately, the communication I received was condescending and dismissive on more than one occasion, even when I was simply asking for more time or explaining our care priorities. If this is how they treat parents, I worry how that tone may trickle down into how they approach children. We’ve chosen to seek care elsewhere and would caution other families to do the same if they value warmth, understanding, and flexibility during what can already be a stressful process.

As a parent of a child with autism, finding the right school and therapy program felt overwhelming, but Opal has been a game-changer for our family. Their integration of ABA therapy into the school environment is seamless and truly transformative. The staff, including Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), are compassionate, highly trained, and genuinely invested in my child’s progress. The one-on-one support and small group activities have helped him thrive in ways we never thought possible. He’s more confident, engaging with peers, and even looks forward to “school time” every day! The collaboration with parents is another highlight. The team regularly communicates with us, sharing data-driven updates on our son’s progress and teaching us strategies to reinforce skills at home. The school’s welcoming environment and sensory-friendly spaces make it a safe and nurturing place for kids on the spectrum. We’ve seen remarkable improvements in our son’s independence and social interactions since starting at Opal Autism Centers. I wholeheartedly recommend this school to any family seeking a supportive, evidence-based program that combines education and ABA therapy to help children with autism reach their full potential.
