The only thing consistent with the last 4 years is how inconsistent this place is. Colleen was the only reason we stayed. She helped guide us through starting school. The revolving door of therapists. She went above an beyond for everything we ever needed. Let's not forget, Colleen's quick thinking literally saved my son's life when he had a seizure at the facility. Families will follow good people, not poorly run establishments.
Both of my children are seen at this clinic and the therapists here are fantastic. We absolutely love Miss Colleen, Mr. Kevin, Miss Taylor, Miss Rachel, Miss Leila, and Miss Jessie. We have been so fortunate to have nothing but fantastic therapists. The administration at this facility leaves something to be desired and heaven forbid you ever have a billing issue, but we will continue to come here for the amazing therapists. Miss Colleen is our BCBA for ABA therapy and having her there in person with my older son working through every issue and finding ways for him to thrive has been so helpful. Meltdowns are better, his life skills are better, and his school skills are better. Thanks also to Mr. Kevin our RBT for playing and making learning fun every day. Speech with Miss Taylor and Miss Rachel has been instrumental in my son's AAC device usage increasing constantly. He is so adept at his device and frequently asks for new buttons because he recognizes how much his communication is improved. Miss Leila and Miss Jessie are both such kind-hearted individuals and have worked with my kids to improve their sensory challenges as well as their motor skills. 10/10 recommend on the therapists.
Harry is doing great at Patkids, using his divice every day, learning coping skills and connecting with others. Leigh, Harry's OT is highly knowledgeable. Harry is very blessed to have this amazing support. ABA is starting soon, I'm Harry's mom and I'm happy with Patkids therapy.
We are incredibly grateful for the amazing care and support Mrs. Amy Vega has provided to our son through occupational therapy. She has truly done wonders in helping him grow and thrive. Amy is a gift to our family, and we deeply appreciate her dedication, compassion, and the genuine love she brings to her work each day. We would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Kristen, our son’s speech therapist. She is equally wonderful, and her expertise, kindness, and encouragement have made a meaningful difference in his progress. Thank you both for your gifted talent, knowledge, and unwavering care. We are so thankful to have you in our son’s life!
We can’t say enough wonderful things about Christine Smith, our pediatric dietitian. After our infant was categorized as “failure to thrive” and we had seen multiple specialists with no long term resolution, Christine was the one who identified the root issue. Incredibly, within just 24 hours of following her guidance, our baby was finally able to keep his food down. Christine is not only highly knowledgeable and experienced, but also incredibly responsive and supportive. She goes above and beyond in every interaction, and it’s clear she genuinely cares. Her compassion and expertise have made such a difference in our lives—we truly consider her part of our family. We are so grateful for the care and attention she’s given our baby. Christine has been an invaluable resource and we wholeheartedly recommend her to any family in need of pediatric nutrition support.
Absolutely amazing staff! My son's speech is improving weekly.
Mrs.Katie is absolutely amazing ! I have seen so much progress in my child and she makes it so much fun for him!
If your kiddo needs any type of therapy you should definitely look into PAT Kids!!! The therapists are amazing and they truly know their stuff!! Amy provides occupational therapy for my 3 year old with a speech delay and some behavioral tendencies. Let me tell you… she is absolutely AMAZING!!!! Total rockstar therapist!!! Her tactics, experience, and abilities to effectively communicate and demonstrate tasks are out of this world! We needed someone with a “no nonsense” type of approach to handle his tantrums and she is truly the ONE!! Our kiddo seriously looks forward to seeing Amy every week, to the point that he can say her name (first actual name he can say fully and correctly!!) and gets so excited when we tell him he’s going to see her! He has truly come a very long way in just a few short months that we started OT and a HUGE portion of that is due to Amy and all of her efforts she has poured into our boy! She’s truly phenomenal!! If you are looking for OT services, look no further and request for Amy at PAT Kids in Huntersville!!!
We have been coming here for almost 2 years now, starting with Occupational Therapy, Speech, and now Behavioral Health Counseling. Shelby was our OT and she was an absolutely blessing in our lives. She helped us through so many mile stones. She has since moved to Washington, but we will miss her greatly. Mekayla is our Speech Therapist and she is so incredibly kind and intuitive with her methods. I have learned so much from her and appreciate how much she has helped us. We started Behavioral Health Counseling with Brennah a few months ago, and she has made such a great transition for our son from OT. She has given me great guidance and has such patience with our son. I look forward to learning from her and watching her relationship grow with our son. We love you guys!!!
I have been to this facility for multiple services. My experience was excellent for counseling services provided on site. However, my experience with trying to onboard ABA therapy has been very disappointing! We applied in June 2024 and like most companies, we were put on a waiting list. Many facilities in the area will tell you six months waitlist time. We came in to do our evaluation November 14, 2024. After that, I heard little in terms of a start date. I called mid December and was told start date January. I have now called multiple times mid January and I have not even received a courtesy phone call response. I have finally spoken to someone today, who now tells me they don’t have the staffing and probably won’t begin services until early February but even that is tentative. From the time that we conducted the evaluation to now I could’ve started with another company. My son has been without services going on three months waiting for them. If you don’t have the staffing, please be transparent so that families can try to receive much needed services elsewhere…
