My daughter came back from college and we reopened her case. That was in January of 2025. We have yet to have received anything more than an I introductory meeting. I left messages begging for a call back. Nothing. Big disappointment.
The case managers do not keep up with their clients. The case workers do not return phone calls or emails. Neither do the supervisors of the case managers. I've been trying to reach my childrens case manager and supervisor for over a month now, with the additional help of three other people. None of us have heard back from the case manager not the supervisor. Also the current case worker we have she goes on "vacation" A LOT. She never seems to tell her clients which in my eyes is very unprofessional and tells me that she doesn't take her work seriously enough to be anybody's case manager. She has cases but doesn't mange them, but has time to mange " vacations". Regional is slipping and they're becoming unfunctional and unreliable.
They do not return calls and it is very hard to get ahold of the caseworker or get anything done unless you stay on top of it. Disappointing.
I’m autistic and in October of 2018 I moved from San Mateo county to alameda county and my first case worker was Rhonda. Than switched to Taresa in 2019 before COVID and it’s been good with my new case worker Taresa until now of this year that she not listening to what I said or emailing her.
They paired me with a case manager the same month they got hired. The case manager in question ended up forgetting everything we talked about in the initial meeting, and ended up making tons of false promises that were never followed through. I'm with another case manager now and they don't seem to be doing anything besides repeatedly asking me what time we should have a meeting, in which I'm responding "any time", and for some reason they aren't actually scheduling it.
