Great staff! It’s been crazy with their scheduling because of staffing changes, a little annoying haha, but they did super good on making sure we got the appointments we needed. My 18 month old gets super excited when I get him from daycare to come “play”.

My son Luka came here for speech therapy. We had some problems with scheduling. There has been a large change in staff over the past year. Despite this challenge we had a good experience. The front lady with blonde hair expressed her empathy for the situation. It appears turn over is not only a common problem in childcare. We are military and have experienced this issue at other duty stations. Kudos to the staff for trying to accommodate everyone. I hope they can find more therapists. We have enjoyed each therapist we have been working with.

My middle child has Autism and was referred here for ST. It was a bit of a wait but once we got a spot we had a great experience! Ms. Bethany was the highlight of Jax’s week and the staff was super helpful when we had ABA conflicts!

My child was sick for almost 2 weeks, I called to inform them of this, I drive 30 minutes to get to his appointments all to be told that they took him off the schedule and I would need to call to see if there is any cancellations! No email, No Phone call, NOTHING! SMH so your child is not allowed to be sick I guess! Find your child another therapy center, all they do is sit behind the window and talk about people anyways!

Always a great experience with the therapists and especially the front desk. Highly recommend.

I had a child as a patient at SK for a year and a half. We loved the therapists we worked with (speech and OT), but for the way I was spoken to and treated at our last encounter, it now makes sense why we experienced a high turnover of therapists: poor management. Every time I brought my child in for therapy, I would get an email post-visit that payment had been processed. Payment was never an issue - I had a card on file and authorized them to charge it each visit. Mid-November 2024, I got a phone call from the front desk staff that a few of our previous visits were charged full price, to which they discovered that we had reached our maximum number of visits per insurance. I really appreciated that, and asked to pause therapy until January when insurance would reset. Because of that, a balance had accrued on my account. On that phone call, I authorized my card to be charged and they recommended to wait for our most recent visit to go through just to be sure of the final balance. I agreed and left it at that, fully trusting them to keep their word and following their recommendation...they hadn't given me a reason not to trust them. Fast forward to the end of February 2025 and I received a bill in the mail from a collection agency for our outstanding balance. I couldn't believe it! I immediately emailed SK (so I could have a paper trail and written documentation) explaining what had happened. I was hopeful I'd receive some type of apology for their error, but was instead told, "We sent several invoices that remained unanswered. We attempted to reach you via phone; unfortunately, once it goes to collections it has to be handled with the collection's agency." I replied asking for confirmation of my address and phone number that those contact attempts were made. After several back and forth emails, they admitted to never reaching me via phone since our initial call mid-November, and claim one invoice was mailed on December 1, 2024. That invoice was never received. I even stopped by the office on December 18, 2024 to give a goodbye gift to our OT (who took a new job elsewhere) and nothing was said to me about a balance on my account then. I strongly urge anyone considering Sensational Kids for therapy services to reconsider. Yes, there are long wait lists nearly everywhere and maybe you could get in to SK quicker, but this is not a place you want to get caught up in. After the unnecessary financial grief they put us through and lack of ownership for their error, business with them simply isn't worth it. Update: SK responded to this review (as you can see) on 5/8/25 right after I posted this stating someone would be in contact with me. Today is 6/24/25 and no one has contacted me. That further shows the lack of communication.

From the moment you walk in, you’re met with warmth, kindness, and an atmosphere that instantly puts both kids and parents at ease. The front office staff is the heartbeat of this practice—professional, efficient, and always welcoming with a smile that feels genuine every time. We absolutely love Ms. Jayla and Ms. Meredith, who consistently go above and beyond. Jayla’s energy and caring nature make every visit feel personal, not just another appointment. Meredith brings a calming presence and attention to detail that reassures even the most anxious parents. Sensational Kids Pediatric is a true gem, and I can’t recommend them highly enough!

It looks like you have to record yourself while booking appointments, or they might kick you out unless you pay a fee for supposedly missing an appointment you never agreed to. When she started this therapy, I noticed a ton of negative reviews (I remember being confused about that), so it seems like they’ve been removing those to make the place look better than it really is. I know I’m not the only one who’s had a rough time here, and I definitely won’t be the last. The main problem lies with the office itself; the therapists are great, which is why I tried to stick it out, but in the end, it just wasn’t worth it.
