I’m a dad of a fantastic 6-year-old autistic child. He was diagnosed with autism at 18 months old. We started ABA therapy four years ago, and for the past three years, we’ve been working with Solving Autism at the Fort Mill Clinic. When my son began therapy, he was non-verbal, struggled with social interactions, often eloped, and had difficulty focusing and completing tasks. Today, thanks to the dedicated team at Solving Autism, he is verbal, achieves his goals, and is ready to start school. I highly recommend Solving Autism. Their staff is outstanding—genuinely concerned for my son’s wellbeing. They consistently worked on meaningful goals and used metrics to track his progress. Communication was always open, and we received regular updates and reports. We are so proud of our son’s milestones, and we truly believe this growth wouldn’t have been possible without the Solving Autism team. The most important thing is that my son genuinely loved going to therapy; he was happy and engaged every time. We are deeply grateful for everything Solving Autism has done for our family.

Five stars really isn’t enough. This clinic gave me hope when I was at my lowest and molded me into a knowledgeable and tough Ausome mom. I could never thank Alyson and her amazing staff enough. She (Alyson) has a lot of knowledge and love for the autism community and pours everything she can/has into the families at her clinic. I know there is a lot of negativity surrounding ABA, and I was definitely hesitant. However, it was the best decision and I would do it all over again. If there are any negative reviews, I would assume that the parent is expecting the staff to work a miracle and that is not the case. I always tell parents that choose ABA, you literally have to become an honorary RBT/BCBA because the work doesn’t stop at the clinic. They lay the foundation.

We cannot say enough good things about Solving Autism. Our son, Sam was diagnosed at 3 and thankfully began ABA therapy with Solving Autism shortly after. Sam has made SO much growth since beginning therapy. He is now almost 6, a “graduate” of ABA, and thriving in kindergarten. Everyone at Solving Autism is kind, caring, knowledgeable, and invested. Everyone at the clinic has gone above and beyond for our Sam, and most importantly, it was always evident that they love him. Although Sam is no longer in ABA, he still enjoys visiting the clinic, which he always calls “Puzzle School,” and everyone there will always have a special place in our hearts. We thank you for being such a big part of Sam’s journey. He would not be where he is today without Solving Autism. We love you all!!!!

I have nothing but good things to say about this company. My son did ABA therapy there for 2.5 years and made huge improvements. I was impressed by the consistency my son had in therapists (knowing there is a high turnover rate in this field). My son LOVED going to the clinic and loved how child led everything was. His therapist really cared about him and wanted him to succeed. Their communication was excellent and they worked so well with us to make sure all stakeholders were on the same page.

Words can not express how ABA therapy at the Solving Autism clinic in Fort Mill has helped my daughter and exceeded my expectations! The one star reviews I read on this company have clearly not been clients of this AMAZING group of professionals. This is a privately owned company which in and of itself should tell you the selflessness of the owner. All of the RBT's and BCBA's love working here. This is a place of inclusion and the children are allowed to be themselves. They teach patients that they can shine their light and be exactly who they are by co-existing in this "neurotypical" world. My daughter used to have horrible tantrums, would not allow me to brush her teeth, potty training seemed impossible, she would not keep a hair ties in her hair, would wriggle out of her seatbelt, was not talking, etc. These Registered Behavior Technicians and Board Certified Behavior Analysts have helped her overcome ALL these obstacles and how to maintain independence with LIFE SKILLS! The children have a sensory center, a gym where they can bounce, jump, roll, and swing. They have brought in therapy rabbits, take them to the park to get fresh air and free play, circle time where social skills are enhanced, art is a cornerstone and they have a very creative art teacher! They also have a music session where children can play instruments, vocalize a joyful noise and dance! Alyson, the owner, also hosts monthly parent sessions where we can come together and network, discuss techniques and practices and we the parents can share notes on how we are able to find success at home or resources in the community. I have never met a person as dedicated and passionate about the autistic community than Alyson! She is the most kind and caring person who will meet your child exactly where they are and has the gift to think outside the box and help create individual plans for each patient's unique needs. She encourages her staff to be innovative while maintaining compliance and state laws. There is no one I would trust more with my Autistic daughter than Solving Autism! She feels valued and loved and not only is she potty trained, brushing her own teeth, staying in her seatbelt and having minimal tantrums...but she is now talking and singing...and even finally told me that she loved me. As a mom, there are no words to express what is possible with the right people, talent, resources, and care that Solving Autism brings. "THANK YOU" is an understatement. This company was a God send to our family!!! A+++ Company!!
