Stepping Stones Therapy & Learning Academy

Stepping Stones is an excellent therapy center. My son receives one-on-one speech therapy and participates in a group session, and both Ms. Mia and Mr. Brandon have been patient, caring, and instrumental to his success. I truly believe he would not have made such significant progress without their help. Mrs. Foltz has also been extremely helpful and kind throughout our experience. Truly appreciate all the staff at Stepping Stones!

The level of service provided by both the front desk team and the therapists was truly exceptional. The front desk staff was extremely communicative and proactive in coordinating with the Regional Center of Orange County to assist with copay support. I cannot say enough positive things about Ms. Mary and Ms. Susan. They were incredibly kind, supportive, and instrumental in helping both me and my daughter. They are genuinely wonderful people. I highly recommend Stepping Stones.

My daughter went here for 10 months due to gross motor delay. She was about 9 months old and not even rolling over. We started with physical therapy with Susan. She is an angel. She was so communicative, informative and gracious with how she handled everything. She worked with my daughter for the entire 10 months until my daughter was eventually walking at 19 months old. My daughter also worked with Cami, another physical therapist. She is an absolute rockstar and walked us through every part of the process. She would even videotape my daughter (with my consent) so that I could observe her gait and work on improvements at home. Both Susan and Cami not only were amazing therapists but advocates, checking in with me often to get updates on my daughter’s progress during the week. At every milestone, they were cheering with me and at every set back, they were there for support. When my insurance changed, Stepping Stones no longer took it, but we were so impressed with everyone there that I paid out of pocket for 3 months. Honestly, it was worth every penny. When my daughter eventually was walking consistently on her own, they discharged her. It was a great moment but also sad. Everyone at Stepping Stones became family to us and we were sad we wouldn’t see them every week. I can’t say enough things about this place. Everyone is so nice and communicative, always eager to answer your questions and they have such a heart and gift for children.

I am beyond grateful for the incredible therapy services my son has received. From day one, the team has shown patience, understanding, and genuine care for his growth. They take the time to truly connect with him, making him feel comfortable, confident, and excited to learn. We’ve seen so much progress—emotionally, socially, and academically. The strategies they use are thoughtful, effective, and tailored specifically to his needs. What means the most to me is how supported we feel as a family. They communicate openly, celebrate every milestone, and guide us in ways that make a real difference at home. Watching my son blossom because of their dedication has been one of the greatest gifts. I wholeheartedly recommend their services to any parent looking for compassionate, high-quality support for their child.

We absolutely love Miss Emily at Stepping Stones in Newport Beach! She has been incredible with my daughter, not only helping her make real progress with her stutter, but also giving her practical tools she can use every day. Miss Emily has a warm, patient way of connecting with kids, and she made my daughter feel safe and confident from the very beginning. What really stood out was how she addressed the emotional side of stuttering. Things like anxiety, frustration, or even dealing with teasing. She taught my daughter strategies that built resilience and self-esteem, and we’ve seen such a positive change in how she communicates and carries herself. We’re so grateful for her expertise, kindness, and the genuine care she puts into every session. Highly recommend Miss Emily to any family looking for a thoughtful and skilled speech therapist!

I'm so thankful we found Stepping Stones! Ms Emily was my daughters therapist for social cognition group therapy and she is AMAZING! Always super engaging and my daughter LOVED seeing her every week. I love this center and would highly recommend it!
